You are not actually taking money first of all Riot actually wins money because if you consider that they get extra playerbase it automatically increases its popularity => Money so in the end it's a win win scenario both you and riot win
This is taking money directly out of the pockets of the Riot team. If you want Riot points, why don't you give your money to Riot rather than some random guy?
