Furmark and OCCT from what I read doesn't show any artifacts. It might work fine without errors during the test but when playing a game it might start artifacting.

Furmark and OCCT are for stability testing if you have changed the clocks of your GPU.

You can try Furmark and OCCT , these benchmarking softwares are pretty heavy on GPUs. Also try UNIGINE HEAVEN for any stuttering and pixellation.

Bf4 is a good test  Wink

Depending on the card, set the game for high settings & use Fraps for FPS(frames per second).Watch the temps, anything above 65-70C is bad.

Clean the heatsinks inside by either removing the cover (not the heatsink),some have screws, some just snap on & blowing the dust bunnies out or use an old toothbrush.

If you can't remove the cover, use a little flashlight & a piece of wire to fish the dust bunnies out through the fan opening  Wink

If you do get artifacts, new heatsink compound & TIM pads may fix it,not always though.I have saved 80% of vid cards this way   Grin

I bought a 5870 on ebay about 1 year ago,the fan died 2 months after I bought it so I got a new fan & reapplied the compound & got new TIM pads, still mines scrypt @ 400mh @ 60C with the fan @ 65%,no OC   Cool

If you can't save the card, pull the heatsink & fan, ebay them & you can sell the PCB for scrape on ebay, there's gold in those PCB's  Wink

I am thinking about downloading a game such as BF4 and running some timedemo for an hour and seeing if it artifacts.
Metro Last Light is pretty taxing and you can run the benchmark for hours on end. I'm not sure if it's still relevant, but Furmark used to be a really good GPU stress test. Good luck, and kudos for keeping the sale honest!

I am offloading and selling some of my GPUs on eBay.

I don't want negative feedback so I want to test these GPUs prior to selling them.

I don't have any issues with hardware error but I want to make sure I don't get any artifcats.

What would be the best way to test these cards out?
