Unleash this beast on it and you'll have your Bitcoins in no time at all Smiley

"As a result, it can try an astounding 95 to the 8th power of combinations in just 5.5 hours, enough to brute force every possible eight-character password containing upper- and lower-case letters, digits, and symbols."

Hello
Let me also at least try cracking..

Share btcrecover extracted mkey
https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover/blob/master/docs/Extract_Scripts.md

cd \Users\Chris\Downloads\btcrecover-master\extract-scripts
C:\python27\python extract-bitcoincore-mkey.py wallet.dat
You should get a message which looks like this as a result:
Bitcoin Core encrypted master key, salt, iter_count, and crc in base64:
lV/wGO5oAUM42KTfq5s3egX3Uhk6gc5gEf1R3TppgzWNW7NGZQF5t5U3Ik0qYs5/dprb+ifLDHuGNQIA+8oRWA==

At least it would be safe from sharing ur wallet.dat

Looking forward to hear from you

oh, i will add one more thing, if you decide against using my help, you might try the user "walletrecoveryservices" or something to that effect. he claims to have invented a program that can strip the public key out of wallet.dat files and use it to bruteforce the account with no possibility of stealing the funds. to my knowledge he hasn't proven that it works or is real, but he's made the claim. i'm not sure what his rates are either. if you do choose to use the walletrecovery guy, please be aware his account isn't very old and he could very well be a scammer.
why you so confident in your ability to crack password?

he's currently authoring a revolutionary cryptocoin with a microsized blockchain. i'm pretty sure he can crack your wallet.
yea, i see 1400 post numbers now, sorry, my mistake.

well, i'm not gonna send you .1 btc, and i highly doubt anyone else will either. you fucked up and lost your password, not me. i'm offering to help for .5 of the recovered funds, and i am a man of my word. i've done plenty enough to prove that. i'm not gonna waste my time showing you how much btc i have (.08 for the record) because that .08 belongs to shakezula as soon as he finishes the task i have entrusted him with. if you wish for my help you may pm me, if not then i wish you the best, and either way have a great one.

here is the situation,
i forgot password to my wallet with 4 btcs in it, 8-10 words passcode,
its like a torture to keep it on my hard drive and knowing i cant use it Sad
so i decided to sell it to somebody for 1/4 of it stored value, i can prove my credibility im not a scammer,
anybody interested?

send me the encrypted wallet file on google drive. i will crack it, and send 3.5 btc of the funds to whatever address you specify, if you allow me to keep the rest.
ill send it wherever you like, could you make 0.1 deposit as little trust ?
no because:

a) i don't have that much.
b) you could be a scammer, i don't know you.
c) i've done this before
d) i'm not gonna risk my 1300 post account over 4 btc.
e) good luck i hope you get your money back.

i dont believe you dont have 0.1 btc,
i think you just want take my wallet for free without any obligations to give me anything back.

I doubt your a scammer. I think your just forgetful, like me.  Smiley

However anyone buying this does incur a risk. You could have another copy that allows you to drain the wallet while I try brute forcing it. Buying / selling wallets is a risky thing.

A fun alternate way of doing this might be a contest. For a smallish fee (0.1BTC) ,send a copy of the encrypted wallet to anyone who wants it. The first person to successfully break encryption is in a position to move the bitcoin and declare themselves the winner.

I am game if that is the idea!!
