Is the high price on the 5 grain stuff because you manufacture them?  Is it possible to get the normal 5 grain 999 silver marking on one side, and a custom marking on the other side?

That is pretty much market price, plus a bitcoin volatility premium.  They usually go for 1$ each on eBay, used to be more though.  And yes I can print both sides, would cost a little more though.

if I may ask, what kind of process do you use for the mold/die?

I use an mpx90 for lettering and a hydraulic press with custom dies for other stuff.

There are 480 grains in a troy ounce, so 96 5 grain bars in a troy ounce.  See the picture with a penny to get a visual on the size.  50 fit on a 2x2 inch square.

Simple text would be $10 in btc for the first 50 bar sheet, and an additional $1 per sheet printed after that.  Graphics would depend on the complexity, but probably about 3x the cost of text.   I can do some samples on cheaper metal and post a picture for a nominal charge to make sure the image would come out OK.  Text I can guarantee it will look good.  Some images just don't come out good on metal without expensive tecniques and thats not what I am offering here.

That's some nice stuff! I'm no connoisseur, so what is "5 grains" in weight?

Forgot to say for an extra charge I can customize the text on the 5 grain bars to whatever you want pretty much, if there is any interest in that.  Graphics can be done too.

Here is my ebay feedback profile.  http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=5grainsilver&ftab=AllFeedback  If you look through it you will see that I have several sales >$1000 have bought larger amounts all with positive feedback.

I can offer the following for bitcoin:

-  A limited amount of 1 oz golden state mint buffalo design rounds
-  A limited amount of 1/4 oz golden state mint incuse indian design rounds
-  A decent amount of 5 grain silver as shown on bullionforbarter.com (my site).  Here is my description of these from an auction I ran:

"This auction is for (50) bars of .999 fine silver weighing 5 grains each.  These come in a breakaway sheet, which is the most practical way to buy and sell these small silver bars.

Have you ever counted hundreds of these bars?  I have.  It is time consuming and with their small size it is easy to misplace one or lose count.  And then once they are counted, you need to bag them individually or they will scratch each other.

In sheet form, you know you have 50 bars per square.  They are easy to stack.  They are ideal for a barter situation because if you need to make change you can just cut off the exact number of bars that you need to complete that transaction.

Did I mention that these sheets can easily be cut by hand with cheap scissors?  Silver is an amazing metal, highly valued for both its strength and its softness.  These sheets put these characteristics to good use.  They are strong enough that they won't bend unless severely mishandled, and yet they are soft enough to quickly and easily be cut by hand.

They are engineered so that if you cut directly on the indentation, the bars will all be uniform in size and weight.  The indentation is wide enough so that this is easy to accomplish.  In addition, these bars have been manufactured to be slightly heavier than 5 grains, to compensate for any uneven cutting on the part of the end user.

Historically, silver has been a great investment.  Its many industrial uses and increasing demand for physical silver by investors are leading to real scarcity in the future.  The price of silver has increased many times over in the last decade, as you can see in the chart below.  In the event of a currency collapse, silver and gold will likely be the defacto currencies.  I prefer silver to gold because it is not so expensive in small amounts like gold.  Did you know that during the Great Depression, holders of precious metals were often the ones that became rich?  As the price of other assets including currency decreased, the metals held their values and they were able to purchase real estate and other items at low prices.  I don't know about you but I plan to be the one with the bullion in hand when the dollar has its inevitable collapse!"

I can also cut these for you if you don't want them in sheet form for an extra charge.

Rough pricing with bitcoins at $15 and free shipping on all orders

1oz rounds 3.3 btc
1/4 oz rounds 1.3 btc
uncut sheet of 50 5 grain bars  4 btc

I will not accept escrow at these prices.  This is because i have extremely little confidence in bitcoins holding their current value.  As you can see I have good feedback on ebay.  You can message me on ebay to verify my identity.  If you insist on escrow I will have to charge more to cover the risk of bitcoins conitinuing to crash and getting ripped off by shady buyers.

Prices can be negotiated if you are buying multiple quantities.
