Are you asking me if Wordyman NFTs are inherently less valuable than Seastead Guy NFTs? Well, they say art is subjective, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yadda yadda yadda. What I do know is you shouldn't sell yourself short. Shoot big while the money's hot.

Yes.. more or less, you got what I was asking, nutildah.

I am glad that you were not outright proclaiming (with actual authority) that Elwar's post would be worth 100million times more valuable than mine... subjective or not, that magnitude of a lesser assessment would have caused some self-doubting (especially coming from uie pooie... #nohomo).

I do appreciate that there could be quite a bit of variance in actual bid sizes, and I am considering that an actual authentic, genuine and real bid is going to give much greater ideas regarding evaluations of either of these offerings, including relative to the other, - yet something seems wrong with this thread as a promotional vehicle for these particular NFTs.. So far, no bids have happened... and yeah, I do consider my post to be a wee bit lesser valuable than OP because it is NOT the OP.. and admittedly, it is a kind of passive-aggressive hijacking attempt and sure some potential bidders will relate to my post more than the OP, and may well value my post more.

So we will see.

Come on you fucks.  Somebody bid.  (Note: I am not begging, by the way.. you lazy-ass stingy party poops.. ).**

**Note 2: Antagonizing potential bidders is going to help my NFT value.

What is the point to buy it as a NFT? How valuable is this post? Huh Huh

The first mint of the first copy of the first Seastead Guy NFT?

It was priceless, but Elwar put a price on it, so that others may have the chance to enjoy it.

So, you are considering that Elwar's OP post could well be valued 100 million times greater than mine?

I am feeling kind of badly about my lil selfie at this moment if that were true... especially since i had only placed his post at up to 10x greater value.. If I reconsider the matter, I am willing to be wrong, and maybe his post is worth up to 10,000x greater than mine, but 100 million x remains a road too far for me, until I actually see a qualifying bid on his before receiving one on mine.

Call me stubborn if you must.. Call me a thread hijack-attempting / attention-seeking whore if you must, but I am sticking to my guns (look, I have already slipped from an assessment of 1x to 10x to 10,000x.. I have got my principles, too, at some point).. until I see actual evidence to the contrary.   Tongue Tongue Tongue

I'm selling this post as a NFT.

Bids starting at 1 BTC.

(I am willing to trade for a post of similar value.)

This  quote will hopefully increase it's value a bit.
Would also be up to trade it with this one, since it has the original content quoted plus it's a fair post on it's own.

Well, so far, no one even wants to buy mine at 1 satoshi.. so who knows what Elwar's is worth.  I had been guessing that Elwar's post could be worth up to 10x of my post.. but still difficult to know value exactly, until some dumb (or value conscious) fuck places a bid.. or maybe attempts to negotiate with Elwar or me to lower his (or my) minimum acceptable bid.

I'd rather buy a NFT of this post:

Bitcoins will not take off until they come up with a way to put a bitcoin in a stripper's G-string.

But I can just make the NFT myself, so consider it done already... Saying I'm gonna do it myself and actually doing it are the same thing for all important purposes.

NFTs won't take off until Elwar puts one of his posts in a stripper's G-string.

We have solved the problem posed in the post with tattoo-able QR codes.

The post isn't the original anymore, its merited now, is it worth less or more now Huh

Merits improve the value over time. Hence the long term investment returns.

and Elwars provided added value by commenting on it too. im sure the price is way up there now.

I am sure that the subjective value is getting close to a satoshi or even surpassing a satoshi, but no one is wanting to make such a bid when their bid is quite a bit less than the 1 BTC minimum bid that Elwar stated that he would accept.

Close to 1 satoshi...that's a bold statement sir.

I am presuming that your NFT post is somewhat greater in value than my NFT post, for a variety of reasons (that I need not list here, including but not limited to that you have not made me any offer to trade posts).. and perhaps, your NFT post could even, perhaps, be approaching the ballpark of a value of 10x greater than mine, so maybe I did make an error to suggest the value of your NFT post to be much less than 10 satoshis - merely based on the current factual situation that my minimum bid of 1 satoshi NFT post has not received any bids, yet....

If you (meaning any thread reader out there) bid one satoshi, you might win the bid for my NFT post.. but hey.... it just came to me, whether we are having an ending date to this request for bids...? because I also realized that it may well cost me more than 1 satoshi to send my transaction to the winning bidder.. unless I can learn lightning in the meantime in order to attempt to save on fees.. so there is that angle, too.

Is NFT wrong, I know its been discussed for a great many years.   If they can make it work efficiently I say all power to them, Im not against innovation or just honest attempts and I'd like to see POS succeed though I know many are against that also I dont see its doomed or certain to failure.    Competitive markets are part of capitalism and innovation is going to be part of that, I know alot of stuff is bogus also.
We already have modern art, its not solely on crypto for this type of criticism.  Not all parts to an economy will be linear and logical, I've always thought we get a bull whip effect in unknown detail.

So a 1031 exchange.  It is a great illustration of the NFT insanity going on.

I will sell this post as a NFT also, but, since it is quoting Elwar's, makes reference to the US tax code, is part of this thread, and makes reference to current event of NFT craziness, I will start bidding at 2 BTC.

A true collector will want to collect both this post and Elwar's, plus probably every post in this thread in order to maximize the value proposition.

Edit:
It appears this was moved to digital goods as the mods seem to have missed the (potential) sarcasm.  Now with the edit, this should probably be higher priced.

If someone can sell an image for 69 million dollar worth of ETH then why can't you get only 1 BTC :-P

Good luck.

Why the starting bid is so high? At this price no one will buy it, you should try with a starting bid of 0.001btc, don't be Grady.  Tongue

And how the replies affect the value? if you got the first pages talking about the post and not about the service you want to promote i think it should lose value.

Is the first time I see someone selling a post as NFT. and the idea is really original, so good luck with it.

But I am greedy.

I was going to sell the post for 100 BTC but I figured I'd be realistic. It's a good post...but not THAT good...

Still waiting for offers of similar quality posts.

I think you are just being sarcastic about this post as NFTs are booming nowadays. And since Jack Dorsey sold his first tweet as NFT for $2.9M, you are just trying to test waters here, if ever someone will really take this bait.  Tongue Let us see if you can find a buyer here...

I detect unit bias, here.. which may well cause you difficulties in getting a first bid...

In udder wurds, I don't believe that you are serious, man.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I am thinking of putting this actual post up for bids in order to actually show you that there is a difference between being serious and not..

So therefore, this here post is put up for bids as an NFT.. not the fuck that I know what is NFTs or how to go about this... so I might change my mind, later..

But in the spirit of attempting to go through with this, I am putting this here post up for bids starting at 1 satoshi...

And, personally, if any bids are actually made on my post (as compared to Elwar-pelwar's post), I have not yet decided whether I will provide one of my own personal addresses or perhaps provide a bitcoin address to donate such non-sense (in the spirit of Jack Dorsey).  Surely, my discretion.. and will potentially consider any serious proposals regarding donation locations (upon my complete and udder discretion) whether to run of with the funds and pay for hookers, lambos and blow.. in that order... (assuming that any bids are actually made upon this one - a learning process for sure, since I am relatively new to scams and personally attempting to scam).

Sorry to appear to be even a greater attention whore than Elwar, if that is even possible.   Tongue Tongue Tongue
