In answer to the OP: through a BTC gateway, but I don't know of any myself.

i think you (somehow) have to get the person who sent you the btc to send it to your wallet outside of ripple. Im starting to wonder what the point of ripple really is when we have bitcoin-otc and similar services like this forum already for recording transactions. From what I can tell the only thing you can `actually` transfer with ripple is XRP and its in-system only.

I have 0.5BTC in my ripple.com wallet. how do I send this to another wallet that isnt on ripple.com?
