sending eth/token must have gas applied even in small amount.

Send eth / token without fee is it possible? After several times I saw the "Honeypot" address and there were several transactions sent without fees but succeeded, was that possible or did anyone know how?

I think it is not zero fee transactions, maybe it is near zero fee transactions. If it is really possible to make transactions without fee, why it is not able to make free transactions for everyone?

I support the thought about necessity of fee, it will be rhight decision to get it because we have to control the money and it will help to do it totally.

Fee is the significant element in crypto and I think it will be better to have it than not to have it. It is like a small insurance for me to be honest.

I have not yet met such an exchange on which it would be possible to conduct transactions without commission. I myself would like to find and try it)

Sending eth/token without fee can be done with "Honeypot." But sending and receiving ETH does not cost a great deal to be fraudulent because the cost of sending is very unreasonable. I have searched on Google with the keyword Honeypot is known that this is a fraudulent scheme to steal the private key from the investor e-wallet.

Yes That is possible, If the network is not too full like today. It's just not completely zero fee transactions, you can check here https://etherscan.io/tx/0x17224490348c17eb3bf7f17679f7b42b021b1ff9361b0670eccb24383f54f507 And the blog about zero fee here https://blog.ethlend.io/how-to-make-transaction-on-ethereum-network-with-0-5f5dedac872b

On this website https://ethgasstation.info/ you can see how many gas are recommended and also how much lowest gas is mined by the miner (currently around 0.1 gwei) But the chance for confirmation is very low.

Now for token, Actually I am still learning and don't really understand yet but i think that is also possible unfortunately I haven't found a way. You can see this transaction hash, he sent with 0 fees and i think depending on the token structure itself.

Ethereum is very interesting to learn, Trust me and Good luck!!

Ow.. I have learned this today. I'll try this if I feel the network is not so heavy, but that probably wont happen.

The first question is why would you want to send a feeless transaction, there is always the posibility of making the gas even less than one wei, it should be far safer.

Please has anyone else tried sending the tokens without any fees? I will like to learn how to do just that because I have some airdrop tokens that worth almost the gas price that I want to offload. I have tried sending with lower gas fee in the past, it didn't went through

Fees is mandatory because transactions from cryptocurrency are all made of black chain, cryptocurrency mining is profitable because of the fees so you cannot send any coins without paying fee's.

Yes, it is possible to do a transaction without the fees with the help of honeypot. But that is only possible if the traffic is low. As much as I know, it's not possible at all.

Seriously, this is the first i am hearing that it is even thinking to send tokens in ethereum network without fees, I thought it is only neo that has such feature, I have never witnessed it before in ethereum network and i don't think it is doable.

I don't think it is possible to send tokens without fee, ethereum network requires gas fee to send transactions, and because of the high congestion on the network, miners might ignore transactions with low or no gas fee

Maybe you could do that in the past, but I don't think such a thing is possible these days, I don't think you can send tokens on ethereum network free of charge , I know you can do that on NEO network but not on ethereum.

I don't know it's possible or not. I have tried to send with "low fee" by reducing gas prices, but transactions are often not confirmed and successful. And if it succeeds, it takes a long time to send ETH.

These days with the market bear happening, I don't think it is possible to obtain that kind of transaction any more, you can make transaction free on the NEO network, but not one ethereum network, gas is required for that.

I've never send Eth/Token without fee because you have to pay  the gas price. Sometimes, it's very congested  that I have to increase my gas price to make the transaction go through. First time to hear Honeypot, is it safe?

Thank you very much for your information. It is very helpful for me.

With pleasure! Ethereum is very interesting to learn, I'm serious! I just tried to make a token on ropsten and might try the post on github later.
It's could be hard these days to send transaction with 0.1 gwei,

Few days before, gas price was very low (0.9-1.1 Gwei ~) and ethgas gave information that the miner received no lowest than 0.1 gwei. So it possible but will be very long to be confirmed (maybe 1 day?), Who knows Roll Eyes
If anyone know legitimate info, I would like to be enlightened.

You can see here 0x627306090abab3a6e1400e9345bc60c78a8bef57, I tried sending from 0.0001 ETH to 0.00004 ETH to the honeypot address About 10 times.

At 0.00004 there is an interval of about 10 minutes because it looks like the script / bot does not send eth at that value (I've tried it)but after 10 minutes the script / bot send that eth and try it about 3-5 times at this value (I send with 1.5 Gwei + 24000 GAS). Sorry for my bad englsih anyway.

Token honeypot is very famous for the "ETH" scam what I can remember. People send shared private key of honeypot tokens and they gets cheated by the scam to transfer gas for transaction. Honeypot, as far as I know does not support zero fee transactions. If anyone know legitimate info, I would like to be enlightened.

When the network is not much congested then the fees of transaction will reduce but to send it without a fee is not possible since from my experience even transactions that couldn't goes through still attract gas prices.

I doubt it if it could be possible to send ETH or any other token and boycott the transaction fee. I would not use until I can see evidences of it being genuine. For now I am using the normal wallet that charges me for transaction fees. I use these two wallets mostly for day to day transfer of tokens as they are more trusted, reliable and easy to use :

So erc 827 is a continuation of ECR 825? Anyway thanks for the information, I see the github is still open and this is very interesting.

I'm really curious about this, See this honeypot address 0x627306090abab3a6e1400e9345bc60c78a8bef57 There is a 400k Contentbox token or around $10k USD. It's really very interesting if ERC 827 can be used in the coming project or i hope eth have feature like Bitcoin CPFP feature (Although it seems impossible to happen). Maybe I'm naive but who doesn't want free $10k USD  Grin.

Ethereum tokens can be send without fees but that solely depends on the network traffic. However, you'll need a certain amount of gas to do so. You can also find various articles on Medium, Reddit which has detailed information of the full process.

I've searched for this ERC-825 and it turns out that this is a real thing and it's a project of bitclave.
You guys can read more about it here: https://medium.com/bitclave/do-not-pay-transaction-fees-in-ethereum-21a9dccaaf63

Their github discussions: https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/827

According to there, it is still unsafe and not suitable for use.
Hmmm.. I see so this seems to have been tested on ropsten or other testnet, but can't be used publicly yet? I'm still learning about this erc after the post above and I'm very interested about this.  Shocked Shocked

For others post, I'm sorry I can't reply one by one.

I do not think that is possible because eth network is based on transaction fee and gas, while it is possible to reduce the cost by lowering gas but do remeber that it can increase the time for the transfer to complete.

Nah, just another nonsensical rumor. Eth transactions and contract executions always carry a fee, even if sometimes it can be really tiny for a cheap gas price.

You also could decrease transaction fees if you pay them with an exchange's native token. In most cases, you'll pay twice as little. It works with Kukoin, Bancor, Binance for sure.

it is not possible, when trasactions are made on the ethereum network , miners confirm the transaction and this helps to confirm your receipt,. miners get their fees for doing this job. no does jobs without been paid.hence is impossible to bypass these fees.

I doubt if you can, actually you need gas to send trabsactions. However, there are times that gas fee is too cheap that you will not actually notice it and it is fast. It only happens when the ethereum network is not clogged.

Without GAS you cannot send ETH coins but you can definitely bypass the fees. There are some guides available online you can try those to see if they can be helpful as it depends on the type of ERC token you are trying to transact.

Because the delivery of the whole block requires the miners to take care of the packing, if there is no fee, no miners will handle the deal.

You can read here for the smart contract: https://www.coindesk.com/information/ethereum-smart-contracts-work/
And here for erc-20 https://www.investopedia.com/news/what-erc20-and-what-does-it-mean-ethereum/

Last thing, you can try reading the discussion about ERC865. So this will implement pay fee with tokens rather than eth, check here:
https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/865

Ethereum is very interesting to learn, Trust me and Good luck!!

Send eth / token without fee is it possible? After several times I saw the "Honeypot" address and there were several transactions sent without fees but succeeded, was that possible or did anyone know how?
