I have used Jaxx temporarily in the past to send LTC for exchanges. Today, using the mac, chrome, and android app, I was able to receive, but the available balance kept showing 0. Even when refreshing, it kept saying "transaction received" and would update the balance, but it was always changing my micro amounts. It made it very difficult to use a service like shapeshift.

Even when I got everything loaded up for the exchange, the green send button did nothing. After 5 failed attempts, I grabbed the private keys and swept the wallet to coinomi and was able to exchange on the first attempt. It was super fast.

Weird because I never had this problem with Jaxx before. I've never used it as a longterm storage; I lost an hour of my time. Probably will never use it again.

Jaxx wallet has too many problems, constant complaints about funds disappearing, bugs etc.
I dislike Jaxx so I may sound biased-I would suggest using the latest Electrum instead,it is much better in terms of security and
only had one vulnerability/bug that resulted in no reported hacks or funds go amiss
it is fixed in the latest version,so drop Jaxx and migrate to one of the wallets with less problems
be it electrum, mycellium or any other, you would be better off than staying with Jaxx

But that transaction is not there?  That is the problem. I used this key (which they gave me) when I transferred the coins from Bittrex to Jaxx, but it never showed up in my transaction list.

Any other suggestions how I can get these coins from where ever they are stored.

Thanks for your help.
If the wallet gave you that address then it must have generated it from the seed phrase; that's how BIP39 works.

Import your seed phrase into another wallet and the coins should show up.
If it doesn't show up on the default derivation path then tweak it.

I followed your instructions below

Or if you just want to see the private key of 1LvxEykLrKYBiBzG9bjGbW7PMjyVfC7DFe, then go to Tools -> Display Private Keys -> Display Bitcoin Private Keys.
Then search for the private key of 1LvxEykLrKYBiBzG9bjGbW7PMjyVfC7DFe and import it into another wallet like Mycelium, Samourai, Electrum, Coinomi, etc.

I recently sent just 3.00018933 BTC from Bitrexx to Jaxx on December 9, 2017. I have done this many time before, so I am not new to doing it and was very careful. Never had a problem in the past.

At first, the coins showed up in the wallet view, but they did not have a transaction showing. I reset cache which should have solved this, but it did not register the transaction and the coins vanished form the wallet view.

I checked blockchain.info the the coins successfully hashed. See below.

https://blockchain.info/address/1LvxEykLrKYBiBzG9bjGbW7PMjyVfC7DFe

Any ideas how I can get these coins into my Jaxx wallet or transferred somewhere else. I just do nto want to lose them.

I have contacted Jaxx customer support and they responded right away and i sent them shots of my wallet (No private keys of course) and every thing. Once they got all this info, they just stopped communicating. I sent 10  more requests to begin communicating again and nothing. I then opened a second ticket and referenced the first and they responded right away...but once they got the info they needed, the stopped communicating.

They indicated in mid December that they were having problems and to be patient. I have been but now i think they know they goofed up and are trying to ignore it hoping i will go away. Not with over 3 BTC in the balance.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get these coins back using Jaxx or any other method?

Thanks...
You can get your seed phrase from Jaxx wallet, just import it into another wallet and you should see your coins there.
To view your seed if you didn't save it, go to Tools -> Backup Wallet -> View Backup Phrase
It'll show you your 12-word seed.

Make sure you use the correct derivation path.

Hackers please hack me .... if you can :)
since i am interested on this wallet i just downloaded and soon after install it and this come up:

EDIT: i know i can go to security settings and allow that to be opened.... but for my own safety i want to stick to the apple proposal..
so, i come up to your post. very good to hear that is resolved.
In the past i read about a person that lost some coins and as i understood he managed to get back with the mnemonic phrase by restoring to pc.
problem was after update on the android but he did not explain more if he "touch" something before or after the update...

So my question is : is this wallet a trusty one? can we use? i am thinking taking out bitcoin from exchanges and alts and this is a great way to have them in my pc and safe with back ups.
but i do have a little stress trying out.. any experiences ?? do you recommend this wallet? i repeat, i want to use is to store multiple coins inside not only Bitcoins

yes, i wnt know too.. Trusted wallet or not?

who use it.. please tell us know

There is an article floating on the net that hackers have stolen 400k dollars from the users funds of this wallet. Mainly Ethereum but the hackers are investigating possible ideas to steal bitcoin. Stop using it immediately and migrate back to well known and very secure wallets like Electrum.

My issue with this wallet is that after sending tokens, my transactions do not immediately show up in the "Transaction History" like they do in other wallets. For example, this morning I sent ETH to an ICO address and after hitting "Confirm", the transaction literally took nine minutes to show up in the history. I assume this they are pulling the history from a block explorer, but to not know if your transaction went through is not a great feeling.

Hi guys
So i have made a transaction from my jaxx wallet into another wallet, well the transaction disappeared.. the money was taken from my jaxx account but hasnt been sent..

when i click to see where it went it just comes up with "no transaction found with selected hash"

this is the hash:  4f47a58f0ec17bfd74e532405d255cf2942f4440b5de9a9262148a6a7c5b477c

What could be the problem? money was taken from my jaxx wallet, looked into blockchain.info cannot find anything.. looked into the jaxx popup to see where it went.. no trace.. it's not much (around $25) but still money that i dont wanna lose..

any help please?

Relax man, I think you just need sending massages on the support of jaxxio, if your bitcoins are not back
sometime there are problem on their service but always been finished by support of jaxxio.

Have you seen the transaction on block explorer or your wallet before?

If not, the transaction has likely not been sent at all. Contact the service for more help, we can't do anything here. It may just that they have a glitch with their client which did not allow the transaction to be broadcast. Damn, I didn't know that it wasn't a service. On which OS are you using on?
