Sent another payment without a fee again by mistake and this one is unconfirmed for 5 hours.

Any idea how to get it confirmed?

About the only thing you can easily do is wait.

To avoid having the problem again in the future, you may want to change your preferences and set a transaction fee of 0.0001 BTC per kilobyte.

There is no way to get it to confirm. If it was small you can try to double spend it out of there and have the one with fees stick but otherwise you gotta wait it out. How the hell does this keep happening to you?

It (0.9.0) did the exact same thing to me a week or so ago. It took about 2 days to confirm but it did go through eventually.

Correct it just need longer time to confirm...and it depends on the amount of transaction

If you send it without a fee by accident and you want it confrimed quickly you can just spend the same outputs again but include a fee which will likely be included quicker, no ?

Depending on how high the priority your tx is you may or may not be able to get away with not paying a fee. For exceptional and specific cases (where your tx is of a certain size - not BTC value) and whether the miner of the block is willing to include your tx you can do it. However, in general it really is just worth paying the minimum fee (~0.04 USD) which is nothing to get your transaction confirmed quickly. Of course, if you tx has larger inputs you may require a larger fee.

You should be ready to wait for an hour or two if you are lucky to get it. you should be more careful if you want these fast as without fees it takes time.

As long as it was a small transfer and not something like 0.3-1 btc then it should go through fine. I had large transfers without fees come back to me after a few days.

I never intentionally send without a fee.
Last time it was unconfirmed for ~2.5 days.

If it didn't include a fee, it usually is because it doesn't need one. However, if the transaction doesn't confirm, you'll be able to try sending it manually again with a fee.

I upgraded to 0.9.1 and I sent some BTC but for some reason it didn't include a fee. Normally my older version always included a fee and I had no issues.

Any idea if this will ever clear and get processed?
