What understand from your post: 0.00xxx is that you sent 0.001 or lower number of bitcoin and maybe that's why they say they won't refund but why they say that transaction fee cost around 0.01 BTC? Because such fee is needed only on very huge transactions.
Well, you lost your coins, there is no doubt and that's not their fault.

I think the whole point is clear now. I focused too much on the number in your title stating that you have sent less than 0.1 BTC to Bitmixer, while turns out that you sent less than 0.01 BTC. From there, the message that Bitmixer sent you is clear -- the coins you sent to Bitmixer are tagged by their system as donation. So yes, your coins are gone. There is nothing that you can do other than to move forward and to learn from your mistake.

Hi,
According to your Letter of Guarantee it seems that our system can't do a refund process due to high transaction fee it requires to send it back to its origin address, this usually happens because there are many inputs addresses on your transaction.

You've sent around 0.00xxx BTC into the generated address, but the transaction fee cost around 0.01 BTC which is higher than the amount you sent.
In this case, then our system will treat your transaction as donation, as stated on our FAQ over here:
https://bitmixer.io/faqs.html

Is there a minimum transaction size?
Please do not send transactions less than 0.01 BTC. Smaller amounts will be considered as donations.
Since they are not accepting payments less than 0.01 BTC they should find out a way to block all such transactions instead of accepting in the first place. Or at least since it is automatically accepted because of the bitcoin system, they should be in one's account but not processed  till it totals 0.01

Blocking a transaction is not possible... A transaction is basically just a bunch of signed scripts that specify which unspent outputs have to be used as an input for the new transaction, and the public key for which address can be used to verify the signature when spending the outputs of the new transaction. There is no way the owner of the deposit address can ever block this.

As for your second proposal: in this case, everybody should have a unique account with his own deposit address, it would defeat part of the purpose of a mixing service IMHO.

If Bitmixer sends back the original coins (minus the fees), you are likely to get your coins back from LocalBitcoins, if you properly explain them the complete situation. If Bitmixer sends you different coins (from one of their own wallets), you'll be having a very hard time when it comes to proving that these coins really belong to you. Next time send the coins first to your own wallet, and then start mixing them....

I got a reply from LBC and they said "Hi!

No transactions have been sent to your LocalBitcoins account.

You must ask them the address they sent bitcoins to.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

---
Best regards,
LocalBitcoins"

I explained that the bitcoin were refunded to their outgoing address, which in their 'policy' says that the outgoing addresses aren't connected to my account, so if a refund were to be sent there, they wouldn't know if it's for my account.

I still have the Letter of Guarantee from Bitmixer, if that helps.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
You should ask Bitmixer the transaction id of the refund process they made to the Localbitcoin address only if they don't show it to you. Then make it as a proof to explain to LBC what happens that as you said earlier that bitmixer will send the refund to the first btc address (if there are many input senders).

From the very beginning it's your fault, why you send less than the minimum required, you should always copy paste not just manually typing if its an amount to be send or an address.

No they haven't shown me the trans id of the refund process to LBC. I'mma ask for it now.

Bitmixer replied asking for the Letter of guarantee. I attached it and sent it to them, so now awaiting a reply.

I know it's my fault, I completely forgot about the minimum requirement. Sad

I think you should contact localbitcoins because if your transaction not confirm it will be rejected by network and receive back to localbitcoin address..
Its not a bitmixer problem you should talk to localbitcoin about this..
You can try to chat them here https://localbitcoins.com/irc

As of typing this, it has 36 confirmations.

I already contacted LBC and they said "No transactions have been sent to your LocalBitcoins account.

You must ask them the address they sent bitcoins to."

But if Bitmixer's system refunded the bitcoins, isn't the bitcoins gonna be sent back to LBC's outgoing address?  Seen that that's where the bitcoins were sent from to Bitmixer's generated address?

Like is said before, LBC's refund policy says "Localbitcoins wallet is a web wallet - outgoing bitcoin addresses are not connected to your account. If you are asking for a refund from a merchant, please ask them to send the refund to your receiving address."

I completely forgot the minimum and sent less than 0.1 bitcoins to Bitmixer.

The system rejected it and said "0.00xxxxx will be returned. 0.1 Minimum required" or something like that.

Problem is: I sent the bitcoins form LocalBitcoins.

I contacted bitmixer and they said "Yes as soon as transaction confirms, our system will automatically return those coins to bitcoin address that used to send coins to us,if there are multiple sender's address then coins will returned to first bitcoin address."

But then I looked at Localbitcoins refund policy and it says "Localbitcoins wallet is a web wallet - outgoing bitcoin addresses are not connected to your account. If you are asking for a refund from a merchant, please ask them to send the refund to your receiving address."

I hope now you can see the problem here.

I then contacted Localbitcoins, awaiting reply.

What else do I do? :/

Are my bitcoins gone forever?
