It’s possible if you send to Kraken’s USDT deposit address. If you send to your BTC deposit address by mistake, you will need help from Kraken’s support team and you can even lose your USDT if they can’t help you.
If it’s waiting for approval, then it’s Poloniex fault and they didn’t send the USDT yet. Just wait for them to send and see if it shows up on your Kraken account.

I do not think that you should risk transferring anything from one exchange to another exchange, because whenever there is a problem in this process, the person loses money and rarely has assistance.
