I'm very new to cryptos and today i bought $150 worth of bitcoins on coinbase. I sent it to shapeshifter which converted it to vertcoins and put the receiving as one of the addresses in my electrum wallet.
The problem is it's the bitcoin electrum as i didn't know there was a specific one for vertcoins. The transaction was completed on shapeshifter but my wallet still says 0 on electrum.
I really don't know what to do and can't seem to find anything online
I think the starting letter of vertcoin is V for vertcoin address unlike electrum bitcoin address that starts in 1 or if you are using sig wallet the starting is character is 3I'm very new to cryptos and today i bought $150 worth of bitcoins on coinbase. I think it should not send and vertcoin address will not sign transaction if the address is not valid better to contact the shapeshifter support about your problem..
They should give your coins back.. its just showing completed but honestly vertcoin will not sign the address you give.. so you have a chance to get your money back. .
asked them and all they said was the transaction was successful
