SEPA is the system that Europe uses for EURO Transfers in the EURO Zone so it only works in Europe and the difference with WIRE transfer which works globally is the fees and its almost instant, just some hours to complete.

To be able to USE SEPA you need to open a BANK account in Europe, it doesn't matter if BNP is european since you will be opening in a NON european country. To open an account in Europe you need to flight there in person usually and go to a branch.

So remember SEPA enabled you need a EUROPEAN bank account which has been opened in EUROPE. You can still wire.

If you need to transfer to another bank in another country yo need to use WIRE transfer from your BNP Paribas bank account by having information like IBAN, SWIFT just to name some of them.

Good luck!

I still didn't make my bank account however I will soon and it will be BNP PARIBAS.
I just want to know if I will be able to use SEPA on paying people or it's impossible unless I'am in Europe. BNP PARIBAS have some of their banks in my country. so not sure if I will be able to use that feature just because I have account on that bakn or I should have bank account + be in Europe. GRACIAS
