Right on both counts.But still only YOU can make the decision. You have your data and even know that BTC and alts are different animals (rare to find here...). Mining is no different than any other business, all have risks. All successful miners started on their own by reading the information found here, digesting it and then acting on our feelings.
It should be a safe bet that not a single one of us pulled the trigger solely on the direct advice of others here.
