This transaction is not Bitcoin look at the image below.

I tried to check on both blockchain and blockchair so if you sent Bitcoin cash from your apple wallet app and then sent it to Bitcoin Electrum then you can't able to see the transaction.

You should use the right wallet for Bitcoin Cash(BCH) like Electron cash you can download it from here https://electroncash.org/

What you need to do is export the private key of the address that you generated from Electrum and import it to Electroncash wallet. You should see this transaction after you import the private key.

Any luck here?

I'm having a similar issue... sent funds from my Bitcoin app (iphone) to a QR Code address that I have in Electrum... Transaction ID 96747021559f66479b8b7732ff9c6d4c3aff8422884a642a72a6207f934aa877

The funds havent been credited to my Electrum wallet and its been 18 hours. I've transferred this way a few times and its worked until now.

Also, sorry if my question is dumb, I'm very much a novice here.

Also getting "Error getting transaction from network: The server returned an error" message when I try to load the transaction from blockchain.

Yes, I was able to resolve my issue by following the instructions offered here.  I am a novice as well.  I hope you're able to get your issues resolved.  The folks here have been extremely helpful when I've run into issues I didn't understand or couldn't resolve.

I will try unchecking connect to server automatically and selecting another server.  Is the bubble supposed to remain green?
It the connection icon didn't even change, you might have improperly selected a server.
The right way is to right-click on your selected server then select "Use as server" from the right-click menu.

Thank you.

Yes. It could turn red briefly but should synchronize again and turn green.

Thank you for the clarification.

I don't know anything about connecting to a different server.  I did restart.

I'm not sure what you're asking (What wallet did you update from?)  I had 3.3.8 Windows Installer version downloaded.  I clicked on the upgrade available link at the bottom of the screen when I opened the wallet.
Did you check whether you've downloaded from Electrum.org? Did you verify using ThomasV's PGP?

Click the bubble at the bottom right, uncheck connect to server automatically, right click on any other server and click use as server then click OK. Check if your bubble remains green and try again.

As stated in my post, I did download from electrum.org.

I do not know what ThomasV's PCP is.

Did you try restarting electrum and then connecting to a different server if it didn't work just by restarting?

Why do you say you downloaded from electrum.org using the link in the wallet? What wallet did you update from?

After upgrading my Electrum wallet (Windows Installer) to 4.0.9 from electrum.org, using the link in the wallet, I received the following error message when attempting to send funds.  I have never encountered this message before.

The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.

Unknown error
