I just read you didn't want a cpu in the build you could take that out and upgrade the heat sink to a water cooled system. or you can buy a ssd. The case i choose is the case i use for all my builds i make for people. the airflow is great for OC'ing. The hard drive is top of the line.  I use this hard drive and also a 250gb ssd on my personal build. That ram is 2x 8gb. room for to more slots. you could have 32gb ram total with that mobo but thats overkill.

if you wanted a water cooling system added to it instead of the cpu and heatsink a water-cooling would be around $150ish.

If you still need/want a hand with this I'd be happy to generate a shopping list. Spending other people's money is fun Cheesy

BF4 series, and Planetside2 are two that take up my time these days. I'm also inclined to have a somewhat quieter system since I share my office with others and want to keep the noise down Wink

Quiter system - decent headphones included in the $1K? Or just low wattage speakers? Wink

I could do it for free just for the fun of it. I would only need to know where you are located to choose a proper website and what you are planning to use the rig for. I wouldn't be able to do it today, though, but it's something that takes only a few minutes. Anybody here could do it.

Curious if anyone provides a service like this. In the past I'd scope out Alienware and other places, check out their components and build it myself. These days I don't have that much time. If anyone is interested in building a rig for me, sourcing components, etc.. for a good price (maybe $1k without a CPU) let me know.
