I have been working up the projects for bitcoin ecosystems not for a one year. Every time I come across the need for setting up a new bitcoind instance for every project. And this was a jump-start for the idea to make this process automatic.
I suggest the bitcoin installation and setting service for any *nix systems, including centos, where it’s been installed at a slow pace
By default, we make a setup on a separate VPS-server (~50gb ~20usd/month).
Our service includes:
• Expert installation and setting of the VPS environment
• Installation and setting of the last bitcoin version, synchronization with a blockchain
• Server security-customizing, standard ports change etc.
• Bitcoin security-customizing, ssl-certificates installation, still standard ports change
• Web-interface installation and setting for bitcoind
As a result you’ll receive the functioning and secure bitcoin-wallet on a separate machine which can be accessed by your service through JSON RPC due to SSL-connection.
And of course the secure Web-interface for the convenient usage.
You can use such a wallet as for the web-services and applications as well for the ordinary personal usage (If you don’t trust the blockchain.info or other web-wallets). Thereby, there is no problem with the CPU loading and blockchain Gigabytes on a desktop.
