As the reply above says it takes a bit of storage to run a node. Storage isn't free, so I think the answer is basically no.
Yeah. Its a no.
Do you mind me asking why you want to setup a node? Is it for processing payments? There's other ways to go about that if that's the case.
A full node helps the network and its basically the backbone of Bitcoin. Full nodes are basically operating with 0 trusts on others and they are the best for protecting your own privacy. You can of course, use SPV clients like Electrum to process payments but its not exactly the most secure client out there for huge merchants.

It's just a weird request. If you want to help the network that's great, but it's either a VPS or one's PC. OP specifically asked to not use his PC but also wants free... So not even a Raspberry PI is what he's looking for.

Hard to suggest something with out more information IMO.

It's not free, but it could be done at an affordable price. You could also run a full node on a raspberry pi 3 (which costs about $40-50 with additional accessories), which would again save you your hard disk space on your PC. You could economize by purchasing an external hard drive (About 1 TB and it costs about - $45-$55 USD) and hooking this up to an external USB hub powered by the wall, connect it to your Raspberry PI3 and then probably choose to boot from it or mount it on every boot. If you already have an unmetered connection, then you're good to go, or else you'll need to spend extra on the extra bandwidth consumed by your full node.

Unless you can find a VPS provider that allows for 200 gigs of storage + 50gigs bandwidth/month for free... then, I'd guess the answer would be no.

Currently the Core blocks directory takes up about 150-160gigs... and a full node (incoming and outgoing transactions) will use up a fair bit of bandwidth/month.
