block erupters do 300mh so 3 do 1 gh

you have 14 of them or 4.2gh

1th earns 28 cents a day never mind power cost.

so you have 4200/1000000 x 28 cents = .126 cents a day

I mod s-9s to one board   you get 3th or 84cents a day. it burns 300 watts or 7.2 kwatts .

this would be 750x the hash of your gear. and maybe 320 watts vs 100-125 watts

No idea on how to help but need to make you aware that it will take you a very very very long time to earn enough to even get a payout from the pool. Block eruptors are painfully slow compared to modern hardware. If you want aomething as a hobby i can suggest Gekkoscience Newpacs or the R606. Both made with Antminer S9 chips and perform well. They should earn you a little something eventually and considerably quicker than the eruptors.

I'm trying to setup my 14 ASIC Block Erupters with CGMiner and I think I filled out most of the info correctly in the config files to connect my workers to the mining pool and such and created a bat file as well.

I was going through the steps on another thread on the site from 2013 and I got stuck on

Check device manager, you should see items under your ports section now, with the COM port assigned for each one.

So Far I do not see a COM port assignment on each of the 14 ASIC block erupters.

When I click on one of them it shows that the location is Port_#0003.Hub_#0007.

Yes I used Zadig

The next step was

5 - Run cgminer-nogpu with these options:

--icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COMx -S COMy -S COMz -S COMetc

Where do you input these icarus options, and there is no COMs showing up they are labelled as CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controllers what config file do you add this command line to and where ? And when you run the bat file how do you get it to run all your workers ?

The user said "For my 7 miners, I'm using:

--icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COM3 -S COM4 -S COM5 -S COM6 -S COM7 -S COM8 -S COM9

Note that if you have more than 7, you will probably need to use this format for the COM ports to recognize COM10 and beyond:

-S \\.\COM3 -S \\.\COM4 -S \\.\COM5 -S \\.\COM6 -S \\.\COM7 -S \\.\COM8 -S \\.\COM9 -S \\.\COM11 -S \\.\COM12 -S \\.\COM13"

Where do you input those command lines if i can finally get COM ports assigned ? Unless I can use the Port_#0001.Hub_#0008 Command Line.

The Silicon Labs CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller is not even showing up in Device Manager either.

IF windows eventually detects them can someone show me their config files with all the information I described to get all these ASIC block Erupters working and connected to a mining pool ?

thanks in advance,
Redan
