The power supply situation in Nigeria is terrible, it’s really hard for business owners to manage especially small scale businesses. Those that can scoped it have opted for using solar to generate electricity for their homes and businesses. It’s expensive to buy but in the long term it’s more cost effective than buying fuel/diesel for generators and the constant repairs.

Electricity is one thing that fuels development of any society the role of electricity in setting up both small scale and medium business enterprise is very important that without it it's virtually impossible for these businesses to thrive well

Nigeria is one country that has been faced with electricity challenges as we are still fighting to get 24hours powe in our country and this is really affecting our economy negatively as the cost of running a business is so high that it is even contributing to the high inflation rate that we currently have in the country coupled with the fact that subsidy has been removed on fuel setting up business a business in Nigeria is now a thug of war because when ever you think of of a business the next thing is how will I keep it running without power

Nigeria as a country can't get it right as a country in virtually all areas of our life's until we fix the problem of power which is key to the development of any country
You have hit the hamper on the nail. Electricity is the the key factor that drive the development of a nation because shortage of electricity will affect every sector of the economy.
No because can strive without adequate power supply and most businesses in Nigeria spend 20% of their budget on electricity thereby making it very difficult to setup a business in Nigeria. I could remember that mechellin a tyre manufacturing company left Nigeria because of inadequate power supply and this contribute to high unemployment rate in the country because many Nigerian that were working in mechellin lost their jobs in the process and the government also loss the revenue that they were generating from mechellin through tax and royalty.
