Add up your power in watts and divide by 110 to get amps.  I thought L3 were 1200 watt and I know the newest s9 are 1500, so I get 49a or 3 circuits needed

Hi all,

I'm leaving the country for a month on Friday, and I've just received my miners.  They'll make ~$3.5k in coins at current prices over that month, so i really need them setup before then - however, very confused on power requirements.

Setting them up at NOCRoom data center in LA.  The initial contract had only 110v, though I know the S9's require 220v.  When I asked for a new price with 220v, they wanted 3 times the prices ($1,100 per month).

Therefore, I'm looking at keeping the contract to the 110v circuit, and using 2 transformers for the S9's:

https://www.amazon.com/LiteFuze-LT-3000-Voltage-Converter-Transformer/dp/B008GQTW7W/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1513202101&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=3000w+step+up+transformer&psc=1.

Given that I'm not concerned about the power inefficiencies when adding transformers, should this be OK?  I'm looking at running 2 x L3's straight into the 110v, and 2 S9's via 3000W transformers into the 110v.

The contract provides 1 single 20A breaker @ 110v.  Will this suffice, or do I need more?

Thanks for your advice.
