I would personally also invest in some privacy focused coins like Monero and/or Zcash.
You can already see that Monero is doing really great and it's only going to get bigger in the future due to a lot of illicit services switching from BTC to Monero.

You missed out on Verge? As of what I heard Monero is still in a way able to be tracked and if Verge does what they'v been saying and release their Wraith Protocol, they'll be the only completely anonymous privacy coin.

Hey people,
Does anybody have suggestions or some coins I cannot miss out on? Thanks in advance!

In my opinion this is the worst questions to ask on any forum or any community. People are just going to shill up whatever coin they're investing on to drive the demand higher hence more gains for them. Stick to the classic do your own research. Wink  Nice portfolio though, but personally I would drop out EOS and get more BTC. Best of luck.

This initial investment was real great. I suggest to store it in a hardware wallet. Security first. After all you would hold it for a long time so better safe coz this portfolio would really give you reasonable profit after many mos or years.

Thanks for the reactions!

Disagree. Long term hold means storing this money in a wallet, off exchanges.

Long term means at least 4 months, off exchanges, preferably on a cold storage wallet.

I am using a Nano Ledger, so that's where I am storing the biggest part of my coins.

The coins are no doubt good coins but I think you forgot to add DASH into the list. DASH has skyrocketed this year and is going to hit the $1000 .
It has been competing with ETH all this way and has been up for all the way. You should definitely add it in your portfolio. You should also hold some amount extra in order to buy more coins in dips. Usually this doesn't matter when it comes to a long term hold but I would always consider to buy more coins in dips as it gives away more profit in future. May I also ask how long are you planning on to hold these coins ?

Thanks for the advice! I am planning to hold them for at least a year. Oh btw, I have 146 POWR as well, that's a good one for the longterm as well I believe.

Take 1/3 in cash liquidity for new buy. Also set  Stop Loss for each coin.

What do you exactly mean with the stop loss? Like, when it hits a certain level that it sells automatically so I don't make any losses? That'll be difficult when I store it on my Nano ledger tho.

I think I will keep a chunk of the investment into my bittrex account for trading, keeping an eye on specific coins where I can buy into the dips. Thanks for the advice people!

Is it smart to spend the 5k on buying bitcoins, or it's wiser to buy ETH of LTC in stead?

Your portfolio looks good. I suggest you invest more on in demand and everyday use coins like ethereum an bitcoin. It has high demands everyday. What do you mean by long term by the way?  I guess you should make a time plan and make forecast on your coins to analyze how long you will be holding them. Each coins have different time to shine so treat them all in a unique way.

Yeah so what's the point? Holding obviously means that he is not just going to store it in an exchange. I personally think that his portfolio is quite good. But I would prefer investing more to ETH.
OP you can take the advice that P2Pfinder said. Having a cash ready in your hand is also good as you can easily buy other good coins that you've missed. And don't forget the Stop loss. Don't just lose all your investments. You should know when to cut your losses.

Hey people,

I have been into crypto for a while now, mostly watching closely from the sidelines with small investmens and now I am setting up my portfolio for long-term hodlings. I will invest 5k euros and I came up with this;

10000 XVG
1 ETH
5 LTC
100 EOS
578 EMC2
16,5 NEO
0,05 BTC

Does anybody have suggestions or some coins I cannot miss out on? Thanks in advance!
