Thanks SFR10,

Presently, I have an Electrum wallet with multiple receiving addresses,  but what determines  what coins it can receive? I'm I missing something??
You're welcome. All of the receiving addresses in your "Electrum" wallet can only receive BTCitcoin, since "Electrum" is a BTCitcoin wallet (assuming you're using the original Electrum wallet, and not those versions that are a modified version for some other coins [I suggest to stay away from those, even though few out there, tend to use those as well]).

Each coin, requires to have their own respective addresses. You can use any of the following multi-wallets (in order to get the appropriate addresses for each of those):

1. Exodus - https://www.exodus.io/
2. Coinomi - https://coinomi.com/
3. Jaxx - https://jaxx.io/

Hi Newbie here.

I'm new to the world of mining, wallets etc, however, I like like to setup a wallet for the coins I wish to keep rather than have them on auto exchange (Mining pool Hub). I have turned off the auto exchange feature for the coins I wish to have, but when I try to put in my wallet address against the coins of interest I see the following message  "Invalid coin address", however I can put the same address against some of the other coins, but not all.

Can any one give a little help to a newbie?

Thank you
