If a man thinks he is sexually objectifying a woman or more than one, all he is doing is stimulating his own sexual response without realizing it. The woman is her own person. Just because a man feels something, doesn't mean the woman is aware of it.

Cool

there are women that are thriving in that sexual objectification, like powergreedy witches.

the boom in porn industry made a lot of very powerful witches very powerful rich and famous, like asa akira, or renee pornero

they literally look like witches in their country of origin's history books.
Odd, I could have sworn it was Islamic women in full body black burkas that look like witches.

nope those a regular usually labour class islamic women,

powerful islamic and middle eastern witches look like this:
if they live in a wealthy humanist and developed urban environment

Nadia Ali
https://www.instagram.com/the_nadia_ali/
Gul Bahari
https://www.instagram.com/gul_bahari/

Middle eastern witches tend to be quite, honest, direct and uncomplicated.
with all those beneficial and hurtful effects.

I don't mind if women treat me as a sex object. Unfortunately it is a nostalgic ambition these days. Smiley

Honestly I fucking hate feminists.

If women wanna go equal then if men beat the fuck out of women they should accept it. Cuz guys beat guys up and it doesn't go into the news. Neither does it when a girl beats a guy up. But why does it when a guy beats a girl up?

I can't understand why equality will stand for violence. The feminists you are saying are fighting for their rights for equal payment in labor, equal opportunity in jobs, and equal treatment when it comes to job-related activities. There are many incidents of the high positioned employee to favor male employee when it comes to promotion in jobs. They prioritize the promotion of these employees just because of the reason that it is not possible for a woman to rank higher than a man. This is actually insane, but aside from that, I will still not yearn for feminism or equality. Equity will still be the best option for me.

Even if i am a man i find that womens are treated like objects even if the last decade gave them some liberty and recognition in some parts of the world they are still treated inferior to men they are abused and do not have equal rights.

Any decently attractive female can avoid the wageslave path since she will always find a guy that pays for everything. This is a big plus thanks to being a woman.

In a free society, women should not need to be dependent on men to survive

Equality in the Libertarian context does not mean everyone is equally abused and exploited, that's social democrat equality.

I doubt a girl coded that.

Wilikon, the ADD card is no excuse for deliberately, yet stealthily and swiftly drifting away from topics. Politicians are exceptionally talented at doing so (Just refer to any of Obama's interviews)

Even if a girl coded it, it would still be wrong.

I'm not the first person to mention Bitgirl on the forums

Boxman90, you are going off-topic.

The topic of this thread is: "The"
                                             I did not forget.
I wish I was a stealthily and swiftly drifting politician.

I am grateful of the awareness you brought to bitgirl. I could have been drunk one day, drop my smartphone and auto-irresponsibly dial up bitgirl and put all my bitcoins on the blonde girl...

So much analysis into a grammatical mistake?  Tongue

The very definition of modern feminism, while actual women are raped and beheaded.

The
END

I hate it when people divert from the issue by suggesting there are worse issues out there. Can we not be worried about multiple things at the same time?

Could not your sentence apply to this thread, where every post is related to how women are portrayed on the internet? And how much more can we say about bit girl though and the "the"?

I still do not know who the other girl on the page is. Maybe that hunting could keep this thread up? But there is no reason to hate people with an ADD like attitude like myself Smiley

So far people told you that, yes, the image of women could be way better online and everywhere. Some told you that women do the "abusing" themselves sometime.

What would happen if you learn bit girl was coded by a woman? Would it be worse? Would it change the subject? Should we assume all websites are coded by males?

So far only one person posted a direct link to a website anywhere: you did. To the website you are decrying, making them getting hits.

This thread is juiced out to be honest.

I don't think the owner of the site would want to say who he is especially with how topics like this can be blown out of proportion over a simple mistake.

Just look up the anti feminist there are actually a good amount of girls that are in that group.

Argumentum ad populum

So your saying I am a liar well here's a link to a video about them.

No, I was merely suggesting that just because a certain group is popular, doesn't mean they're factually accurate.

Oh okay then sorry for thinking that.

I think people need to fucking get over themselves and stop reading into things so much, I believe there was this exact kind of bullshit surrounding hurricanes that were named after women.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_tense/2014/06/03/are_hurricanes_named_after_women_more_dangerous_not_so_fast.html

Maybe men should start lobbying and getting up in arms over every little fucking thing people say about us, also, lets be honest, I have noticed a large number of Bitcoin users here don't write very good English, I suspect that's because most have it as their second language so that's normal. Tongue

In the long run feminist will hurt themselves because all the rape allegations while being drunk are gonna turn on them. Just look up the anti feminist there are actually a good amount of girls that are in that group.

Who is doing the objectifying here ?

Maybe men should start lobbying

Supporting Fathers 4 Justice wouldn't be a bad idea for anyone that supports social justice and equality of rights between the sexes.

Sometimes things aren't so clear cut as they seem - especially to the politically correct, bending over backwards to show his moral wholesomeness, new man.

Why do people say stupid shit like "Oh, females suffer from the persecution complex!"?

Excuse me.

Women can't:
1) Drive in Saudi Arabia.
2) Vote in Saudi Arabia and the Vatican.
3) Testify in cases of adultery (ie rape) in Yemen.
4) Get an abortion in various parts of the world, including Ecuador (unless if they are an "idiot")
5) Get justice if they get raped. On the contrary, they get blamed for it in places like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
6) Leave their house without their husband's permission in Yemen.
7) Get "power" degrees (ie degrees in the STEM fields) in various countries around the world.
8 ) Get justice if they were assaulted by an athlete in America.
9) Get justice if they were victims of a gang rape in India.
10) Get justice if they were trafficked to work in the sex trade industry in a foreign country. On the contrary, the US usually deports those who try to seek help, making the situation even worse.

Women are:
1) Still treated like sex objects by the mainstream media.
2) Still underrepresented in science and politics.
3) Still being told what to wear- whether it is through burqa ban laws or compulsory hijab laws.
4) Still forced to marry against their will in various parts of the world.

When was the last time any feminist group screamed and cried to defend their muslim sisters and their rights in public?
Instead you find that $20 bad designed bitgirl's website to be too offensive. "OMG! They used "The"! Can you believe it? "The!" OMG OMG!!!!!!"

Then you would point to how amazingly positive for the cause of women a million $$ website like kink.com is great for the female image, backed by the endorsement of multiple big names in the media on their front page. Not saying "you" as in "The You" posting on bitcointalk" but all people (women and men) sharing that way of thinking.

Hypocrite much?

How am I a hypocrite for criticizing the objectification of women?

Would you like it if there was a picture of you up there, going "How much for the Wilikon?"

You're changing the topic by bringing up kink.com

Trust me. If the picture of The Wilikon was on that website they would lose money.

Regarding kink.com, your reaction is remarkable. The use of "The" is more important, defining what a sexual object a woman can be on a website (made by one dude it seems) none of us heard of than how the women on kink.com are paid to be used at (living urinal pretty much). A website and a location in San Fran, developed and maintained with a budget of hundreds of thousands a year by a full staff.

I thought the main subject of this thread was how women's image as sexual objects was reprehensible.  I do not deny that fact. I was merely pointing to other more famous, bigger money making websites, defended by many feminists as a victory for the image of women, and promoted by the main stream media, on their homepage. How am I changing the topic?

Have you ever visited kink.com? Some women are so flexible they make Mr. Fantastic's sphincter playing with a bowling ball cries with envy...

So, you're implying that because kink.com does it, it's okay in this case? If that was your counter statement (kink.com did it too), it has no relevance in particular to what we're discussing here.

"Sexual objectification of women" - does this mean that men want to fuck women ?

No, objectification is defined as "the seeing and/or treating a person as an object.". Your miserable attempt at trying to justify it by claiming it's biological is disturbing. I'm a man who does not see women like property, so your comparison to castigating a Labrador Retriever for fetching sticks is an abusive analogy.

So, you're implying that because kink.com does it, it's okay in this case?

I was implying because feminists love the way women are used and abused at kink.com, and because you have chosen to look the other way by your statement it has no relevance in particular to what we're discussing here you have made clear you do not care about women. At all. THAT is what I was implying.

You can start the little acrobat in your head to re encode what was clearly stated above by The Wilikon...

I did not know of kink.com to speak against it, so your argument is invalid.

Ok. My argument was invalid because you did not know about it. Hmm.

Now that you know about kink.com, can you still deny and reject its existence and your lack of decrying it as not the best way to portray women in general?
Or is it more useful to still give hits and promote your little tiny speck of dust bitcoin website with a stolen image of katy perry (the brunette on the left) thanks to this thread?

You've helped that bitgirl site way more than anything they could have done since their existence, with this thread...

And isn't it ironic...

Don't you think?

I wasn't trying to justify "it", one way or the other. I was merely pointing out that men (and in many cases women also) are now, and always have been, drawn to representations of the female form. Thats just the way it is.

Then that's a Non Sequitur, because you weren't making any conclusions.

"I really dont think women need anymore defending from men in the modern western world.  They already have a much better deal vs men at this point.   If you want to understand how bad men have it right now look into some perspectives from warren farrell.

You only have to think about your own life as a man though, things might change at some point but right now we are almost 2nd class citizens by default.  life is much easier for women, look at life spans."

This is a biological imperative.

Would be like castigating a Labrador Retriever for fetching sticks.

"Bitgirl"
"Simple and profitable Bitcoin game. Put on a girl who liked more and Earn money within 15 minutes. Without registration. Try it now!"

"It's very simple. The winner is the girl which is more set for 15:00. Players who predict the winner get their deposit + bank losing girls (jackpot). All winnings evenly distributed, depending on the deposit
The minimum amount is 0.001 BTC"

But this is where it gets disturbing.

"If you want to invest to the Monica,
send any amount of bitcoins to this address:"

"The Monica received:"
"The Jesica received"
"If you want to invest to the Jesica,
send any amount of bitcoins to this address:"

They are referring to women as objects, by referring to them as "The" Monica, or "The" Jessica

Tongue

This...

^ Plenty more where this came from the matriarch here can't even argue effectively against this. If you like I can even go into how women get much lighter sentencing and go into the whole thing we had here recently about car insurance, but of course, according to you men are 'privileged'. Also, in regards to education and peer pressure I think you'll find that men are often more scrutinised than women because they're expected to the providers in the family.

Do you really want to get into this kind of argument? I'm not saying there isn't sexism against women, I'm saying you need to stop bitching about something somebody says to another person when there are far more serious forms of sexism out there.

p.s. Any man with a brain would be absolutely paranoid about birth control, I know I am and I'm fucking single but I'd still be terrified of getting a girl pregnant when I wasn't ready for it

Maybe men should start lobbying and getting up in arms over every little fucking thing people say about us.

Check your privilege. Men never have to give birth, so they aren't worried about birth control. Men get paid more than women, and have no societal pressures to succeed in education and get a career, but women are always pressured to be no more than housekeepers.

Men don't get called derogatory terms like "whores" for wearing what they want, or "bitches" for being moody.

Check your privilege Lethn.
