I have an MSI radeon r9 280x twin frozr 3gb gaming edition gfx card, and I downloaded the X11 mod of sgminer. It runs fine for about 1 minute, but when it actually starts mining, my computer instantly freezes. I can move the mouse around the screen, but that's about the only response i get out of the pc. strangely, I can use SGminer 5.0 dev mod with neoscrypt just fine on this gpu, and have been running it for a while. In fact, I am currently using it on www.zpool.ca to mine some neoscrypt and it is hashing away as i write this. I'd really like to get x11 going on this gpu. the driver i had when i first started mining with the neoscrypt sgminer was 13.11, but i have since updated and that has posed no problem for the neoscrypt miner, since i have the original bin files. However, do i need to downgrade back to 13.11 or earlier drivers to get the x11 sgminer to work properly? I have windows 7 32 bit, 2 gb of ram. thanks for any help!
