Yes, but this is as dangerous as taking a vps or game server somewhere else ^^ it's not for confidancial files, it's just to share something, if nobody wants i don't really care.Your argument is a bit useless, because if someone want confidentiality he will host all his own, but many vps providers are making huge quantity of money so i think there is some ppl that could be interested.

Nor can that box hold that much.... 8GB is NOT alot of room.
On my one box I have 32GB just for web, and I have a 172GB DDR4 (Yes, DDR4) just for gaming.
It's cute also to trust in DDR4, that's...that's... a pointless feature in terms of perfs xD
You clearly have never worked in a datacenter environment or a hosting realm, 8GB isn't even enough to wipe my A$$.
A normal server is 32GB because Java uses more than allocate it, and DDR4 is much better. I ran Minecraft hosting companies, we put 2 servers side by side, DDR4 ran by 70% faster and better on DDR4 than DDR3.
As far as you did not bought the server it's ok for DDR4 but if you bought them it's actually a bit a waste, it was better to wait a bit for better perf, the actual technology is not really ready.
