You have made over 15,000 posts over 10 years since you registered the Quickseller account in 2014 and that is an achievement. I know you wrote about having fun in the forum but the amount of negative tags you have shows maybe you had a bit too much fun a long the way, especially after all the positive tags you received in the early part of your time here.

I don't remember specifically when I reached 10k or 15k, as both happened quite some time ago. I don't specifically remember 5k either, but based on how much I was posting around that time, I would say I probably felt like I was enjoying spending a lot of time on the forum.

You are about 7,000 posts away from the number of posts the person with the 10th most posts has
Maybe I will never make the top 30 but it is fine, I am glad just to be a member here. You did not mention the feelings or sentiments you had when reached a milestone that had meaning.

I remember when I achieved my 1000th post on this platform, it was a very exciting moment for me because it was something I derived joy in doing and I could imagine how the journey was as at the initial start. I thought of celebrating it here but as you know, I was somehow bullied  here.
I have no recollection of you being bullied, I do not know the back story but I will say that if you managed to get past that and are still posting, then well done. I am happy you felt excited when you reached the 1000 posts milestone considering what you stated.

There are so many of us that have been around going on 10 years that we probably will see alot of users who hit 10-20000 posts in the next 3-6 months. Congrats on 17000, I imagine i'll get there within a year or so myself. Could be a little longer as I only have 11.5k currently.
When you say only 11,500, that is a huge amount. Also, there are 24 members that have over 15,000 posts but under 17,000 posts. Many members will be on 20,000 posts within a few years.

17,006 posts in the span of six years on this space shows how much of a Jolly poster you are!!  Wink
Well, it is 7 years but who is counting  Grin

Personally, I have reached my 10,000th post like a while back this year, and I didn't really feel anything towards it but I didn't expect to continue as I am now because I enjoy reading the different posts and learning about different things about cryptocurrency. It's amazing to see how far I have come.
Making 10,000 posts and being a part of the community for the length of time you have is an achievement. Congratulations on your milestone.

When I sat with both hands located behind the head and legs on the table with a chair position that could spin, it felt very satisfied. It turns out I have to appreciate myself for what I have done.
I like the spinning chair analogy. Well done for reaching your 1000 post milestone.

I hope you will beat phillipma one day (which seems impossible though).
philipma1957 is sitting in 2nd place in the table of the highest posts made with a total of 46,011 therefore I am sure I will not catch him. Even those members that have made 30,000 posts have a lot of work to do before getting anywhere near him and let us not forget he will be posting at the same time as others.

This is my 2025th post and I am also proud because I am not doing badly. Hoping to stay here for a long time to learn and achieve more.
You have made it to the 2000th post milestone therefore well done to you. If you manage to have fun while you are staying here for the long term, you should have a positive experience.

At least you have done something extraordinary here, where you are responsible for 18 pages if you multiply the 20 topics/pages you created by the total (360) topics that are of concern to members throughout the world, That's an extraordinary achievement in my opinion, of course it's far from me, only now I can think of 140 topics, with a total of 7141 discussions, that's far from what you have, meaning I'm behind by 9866 discussions.
I never looked at it that way before therefore thank you for the statistical data.

Once again, congratulations to you, who have done things that cannot be mentioned one by one here with your concern for making this forum better, hopefully in the future it will continue to be the best in everything.
You are too kind and generous. What cannot be overlooked is that your contributions in the forum over the years have been appreciated by many. You have made over 7100 posts and we hope it will reach 10,000 posts soon.

So far I haven't had that level of consistency in posting, so I'm clearly admitting to losing out on the competition and in fact I'm 731st on the most posts list. My profile doesn't look as good as yours, but it's me and I'm definitely happy to keep improving it.
We are all improving periodically in one way or another while we remain members of the forum. Try to not see it as a competition between members for numbers of posts, you will find your own consistency and find your own unique place within the forum over time. Well done for reaching the 5000 posts milestone.

JollyGood, my sincerest congratulations on your record. You know my attitude toward you. I really want you to remain an active participant for a long time and break records in all nominations.
I am grateful for your attitude towards me and of course I am also grateful for all the hard work you have contributed in making this forum a better place. Your efforts have been highlighted many times by many members. Congratulations to you on making over 7600 posts. I hope you will be at the 10,000th post mark very soon  Grin

only special thing i remember about my forum stats was my activity and post count were the same for a longish time some time back. not sure if its a milestone but i remember it for some reason lol
That is the funny thing about being a member, we have a tendency to remember things on our profile that others might ignore and also ignore things that others will remember. If that was not a milestone at least you will make it to the 5000th post mark soon, you have less than 80 to go  Grin

Not to repeat, 17k posts is a serious number.
Would you like to share information about your total time logged in? It would probably be interesting information, how much time have you spent on the forum.
Not sure how those number work to form part of a calculation when you could literally open a tab in the browser for hours or more without so much as searching beyond a board here and there with a few clicks. Members senior to me must have very high numbers when it comes to time logged in.

As an aside, I think me being 9th most recognized is a completely BS statistic.  I know Vod employed an algorithm to calculate the rank, but in reality there are way more members who are instantly recognized by name alone.
One member could be more recognisable to another for a whole variety of reasons which might apply from their perspective but to another member. Calculating the most recognisable members seems an impossible task therefore that statistic when reading it should not be taken seriously.

Anyway.  Congrats to us all, and let us all participate in the circle jerking until everyone is tired but happy and asking for a towel.
I would not expect anything less of a highly intellectual comment from you  Grin

I swear I do not remember when I hit 10,000 posts and I noticed with just a passing interest that I'd gone over 17,000 not too long ago.  Maybe I've been on the forum too long, but stats like that don't excite me--kind of like merits; I used to think that earning them was cool, but my enthusiasm waned as time went on and I started focusing on distributing them instead (and as of late I'm doing a horrible job).

But JG, since you posted that screenshot from BPIP you made me curious as to what my profile looks like, so I diddy done downloaded it:

And I was surprised to see that the 17k-ish mark for posts is apparently really high if we're in the 30s range.  As an aside, I think me being 9th most recognized is a completely BS statistic.  I know Vod employed an algorithm to calculate the rank, but in reality there are way more members who are instantly recognized by name alone.  Anyway.  Congrats to us all, and let us all participate in the circle jerking until everyone is tired but happy and asking for a towel.

Thank you to all those posting words of kindness. It is wonderful reading up on so many posts here. Unfortunately many members did not elaborate on their own experiences and sentiments related to reaching milestones that had some meaning to them. It would be nice to read them.

I will probably keep the thread open until the end of this week in order to allow others to share memories of reaching their own milestones.

What we measured on this forum was the length of stay, the number of merits, the number of merits sent to newbies, the number of reports sent, the total time spent logging into the system, etc Smiley. Now a record number of posts, and YOSHIE drew attention to the number of open topics. This forum will always be able to thank the people devoted to it.

To JollyGood, congratulations on your new achievement. It takes a lot of consistency to create 17K posts in 7 years, while most users probably don't have that. So, congratulations on what you have achieved so far. I can imagine you will have 20K posts in the next 1 year (more or less) if you stay consistent like this.

So far I haven't had that level of consistency in posting, so I'm clearly admitting to losing out on the competition and in fact I'm 731st on the most posts list. My profile doesn't look as good as yours, but it's me and I'm definitely happy to keep improving it.

When I saw the thread, I began to check the posts of some members who had been on the forum before JollyGood. It was then I discovered that this is indeed a big milestone because he has posted more than many members of the forum who were here before him. You have contributed immensely to the development of the forum in your special way. Congratulations to you OP and I wish you many more fruitful years ahead in the forum. This is my 2025th post and I am also proud because I am not doing badly. Hoping to stay here for a long time to learn and achieve more.

Wow! What an incredible spammer you are (kidding) to reach 17K posts within six years. Congratulations on reaching such a milestone and I hope you will beat phillipma one day (which seems impossible though). There are a lot of members who have been there for longer than you but some of them are even not close to you.

One thing I want to tell you is that quantity isn't the main thing. You should be proud of your recognization on the forum. If someone claims be to a Bitcointalk forum member but did not hear about your username, I will consider themself as a newbie. Congratulations again!

Congratulations to you Jollygood.

I just reached 1,000 posts since I was first present. It takes about 1 year less for me to reach 1,000 even though some of the number of posts have been deleted. Of course this is a milestone for me with a very happy feeling.

Although most people won't equate as much importance to a number of posts than they will the number of posts but at least like the Op said; it's something worth noting, no matter how irrelevant it may seem to the next person.
Congratulations JG on this achievement.. if the numbers of posts are like the gas that runs this great forum, I believe we'd be confident this place has got enough to keep it going.

This is impressive. I could imagine how much efforts you have put in on this platform to making sure things works properly and go accordingly. Such a number of post is very much of a great achievement because I have barely come across any number of post of this nature if I am not mistaken.

I remember when I achieved my 1000th post on this platform, it was a very exciting moment for me because it was something I derived joy in doing and I could imagine how the journey was as at the initial start. I thought of celebrating it here but as you know, I was somehow bullied  here. Although I never worried about it because I knew it was part of the growing process here and it was certain that I would encounter such so that did not bothered me to keep striving for the best. Here I am now with over much posts bigger than the previous and still counting. I believe I would achieve much more than this as the time goes on.

Once again congratulations on this milestone achieved.

Honestly, I have too many obligations and hustle in real life, so I don't pay attention, or maybe I just don't have much time, to insignificant milestones and anniversaries.
I must admit that I am often surprised by the need to congratulate similar things. But I guess those are forum stuff.

Certainly, congratulations on so much activity on the forum.
I appreciate what you said about being too busy in real life to worry about milestones and anniversaries as they are insignificant. I would not be surprised if by far the majority of forum members felt that way. Real life obligations and activities always have to take priority over anything else therefore I hope all members have the same view. Thankfully I am not one that needs an ego stroke or ego boost by receiving congratulations or congratulatory messages thus this thread was not created for that purpose.

I am assuming more such achievements will follow unless you are no longer active.
If you remain active I am sure you will reach many milestones too. Hearing about how you felt when you reached some of your milestones would have been been nice.

Hello JollyGood - congratulations on reaching your new milestone of 17,000 posts in 7 years. This is a great one- of course.

In fact, the fun journey and experience have made some forum users stay longer, post regularly, and also come with contributions. Time flies quickly and 7 years seems so short - right?

I don't know what milestone I should share with you here - although I'm very happy to be among the other great users who managed to rank up to Legendary after the merit system was introduced. Personally - my first 3 years on this forum went by fast, maybe I was enjoying this fun ride too much. 3100+ posts so far isn't the most proof of my loyalty to the forum - but helping the moderators clean up the trash by sending some great reports is probably the one I'm most proud of. I'm currently on my way to turning 4 as a regular user – hopefully I stay healthy and can always help.

Congrats with reaching another impressive milestone! It shows that you dedicated so much your time for Bitcointalk. As you said, next target should be 20 000 posts.
1.5 year ago I also reached one milestone - 10 000 posts:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61622755
When I reached it, I didn't saw it as achievement and in general, I don't pay much attention to number of posts. It just showed my long journey here and that I spent lot of time on Bitcointalk and I wanted to mark it somehow.

Congress on your milestone. You have made more posts than the overwhelming majority of people on the forum, by a very large margin.

You are about 7,000 posts away from the number of posts the person with the 10th most posts has, however, 9 of the 10 people who are in the top 10 list of those with the most posts are recently active, so getting on that list won't be easy.

@JollyGood, it is an achievement looking at the way you have been contributing to the forum. I doubt anyone can be so active the way you are, as with every post of yours you tried to help the forum get where it is now.

Good luck to your future here!

@examplens, you are again a soul that the forum needs. It is okay to let go of some achievements. You are known and respected here. Your achievements are nothing compared to how you have been helpful to other forum members.

I am assuming more such achievements will follow unless you are no longer active. My best wishes to both of you.

It seems like yesterday that I had made 10,000 posts during my journey in the forum and now I am on 17,000 posts.

Upon reaching this particular milestone I did not have feelings of jubilation, I think it is just a reminder that slowly but surely numbers increase every day. With that it is also a reminder that every so often we learn about members that were part of the forum are sadly no longer with us (and our condolences and best wishes are always for their family, friends and loved ones).

When I reached 10,000 posts I had a different feeling, it felt like a memorable moment for me and at the time I did it without wearing a signature. Since then I have participated in numerous campaigns and it has been different journey because it has been financially rewarding too.

If I am fortunate enough to have good health and am able to continue being a forum member, I will be posting about my 20,000th posts milestone one day Grin
