Please tell me no one here used to strike out in kickball/mattball
Is this going to be the theme for the next CI coin in the sport series? 
The themes were more or less selected by popularity like the basketball and hockey, but cryptoimperator has the final say on what sport makes it to the finish line . If the artwork is appealing and the timing is right anything is possible.

I am enjoying this tread as it is shaking our memories a bit and hopefully reminding us of a once simpler time. .

Dodge ball was absolutely ruthless at times. Kids can be so mean at the gradeschool level and giving them balls to throw at each other that can actually hurt, it's a recipe for disaster at times. Funny thing is I'm thinking back on those times right now and I remember one instance of it like it was yesterday, all these years later lol.
I'm only 35 but can almost guarantee the kids these days will never be able to understand what our good ol' days were like lol
No they won't. Not having technology changed everything back then. I mean high tech toys back then were things like Talkboys and Yak Baks lol. They'll also never know the gut wrenching feeling of having to call a girl you like on the phone to ask them out, nowadays they've got social media, texting etc. I miss the good ole days.

I might be dating myself here, but I seem to recall all the ones we had growing up were red, not black. My favorite recess game was kickball, and IIRC we used the same balls for all those schoolyard games.

Yep, they were red back in the day. 4-square, but a different ball for kickball as I remember.

I always liked the ball because the pattern lines on it make the ball color change dark or light depending on how you turn it.
