So why would anyone use this instead of just shipping it directly to your address? I mean, maybe if the seller doesn’t send to your country. But is that all?

Pretty much. You'd be surprised who won't send where. There are many, many sellers on Amazon US who won't send to the UK. Same goes for Newegg third party sellers. Bestbuy won't send to anywhere other than the US, Canada and Mexico and loads of other sites are the same.

And if you live somewhere like Morocco or something then it's goodnight completely for lots of stuff.

Another reason could be the buyer don't want provide his real address/name directly to seller (for w/e reasons) so using shipito as middlemen.
I'm with them for couple years, made like 5 shipments  (from US to EU) and also never had any issue.
Couple years ago I actually purchased thing from US e-shop which had discounts for US deliveries and this almost covered shipping costs towards my place. So it was pretty good deal from my POV.

As an interesting note for very small items it's possible even omit the customs fee.  (i've heard that somewhere so can't confirm it actually works).
When shipping small items like magazine, comic book, small parfume etc. Such things can be taken by person (courier) on board into carry-on package and can avoid duty as his personal item (then it's delivered to you by local post office).
But that way is occasional and can't guarantee you the delivery time (as they need to find the courier traveling to your destination).

I changed my IP address and apparently, that did the trick. I appreciate the responses.

That's pretty much it yes. Nike, Adidas, Nordstrom, Amazon, Newegg, Lacoste etc. all these services do not ship to my country so I have to use Shipito instead and bring whatever I bought using DHL.

I've used them for US stuff to the UK.

All they do is receive in the US and send out of the US.

It's up to you to make the customs declaration. It's the courier Shipito sends it to you with who'll handle all the customs stuff. If I remember rightly they give you a choice of the usual ones like USPS, DHL, Fedex and the speed you want.

And nothing else is happening while I should be redirected to the Bitpay page. I know it's nothing related to my browser because I've tried it in multiple browsers and computers as well. Anyone facing the same issue?

I've had this in the past with Bitpay. I just gave up and came back a few hours later and it seemed to have cured itself.

On a side note: how does this work? It is worth using them instead of buying directly to your address? Do you still have to pay the customs fees?

Just created an account because got interested on the service.

It worked here and BitPay’s popup showed up after a few seconds.

I've been using Shipito for almost a year now and I've never had any issues with them.

I'm trying to deposit some funds using Bitcoin. After typing the amount and clicking continue, it simply showing the message:

Code:
Opening the BitPay application. Please wait . . .
