miner was 96000 INR when i paid a month ago but now they changed the price to more than double.

The cost is not miner cost, the cost is the extra shipping, customs etc. So dont get excited hehe

I had a face to face inquiry with customs commissioner, after 2 meetings (approx 5 hrs), i was able to convince him this is not illegal.

Today i paid the taxes and other charges, Hopefully tomorrow miner will reach me

Nothing extra i paid only taxes, warehouse charges and CHA charges

Sweet so how much did it work out to be in taxes,warehouse charges, etc per miner ?

Why are they asking for so many documents? Is this normal while buying a miner? What are these IEC copy, certificate of incorporation, GATT and DGFT? Gosh they might as well start asking for documents for buying GPUs from now on, as they are a commodity here anyway Cheesy

Find a clearing agent via justdial or something

you will have to pay bribes to get it out. but give it a shot.

since these have already landed in india. might as well have it cleared by hook or crook

shipping delay

I paid for 2 E9 plus and 2 PSU on 16th nov, they acknowledge on 18th nov. After hours of chatting (only me) they just reply once or twice. finally on 6th dec i got the shipment tracking number and estimated delivery date was 14th dec. but today the status in FEDEX became

anticipated date : 11th dec and expected delivery : 19th Dec

Ebang rep says miners sent to fedex, fedex customer care says only shipping information created miners didn't reach us.

Does any one in india has experience of buying Ebang, If so please tell me everything is going good with shipment & How did you guys clear customs and how much did it cost to clear customs.
