I think they have some sort a free shipment paid by their goverment to support their export I think, but I'm not sure, I'v heard something like that Cheesy

Yes..  I buy from Aliexpress from more than 2 years, I always using free shipping option - China Post Cheesy

That could be true, I'll have to look into it further. I'm sure I worked out how much the postage was once from the label and it was only like £0.40 or something.
Well since sometimes postage is the reason I don't buy something, I would say they have a great strategy at selling their own products.

They are not poor, not as other countries and if they manage to keep it up this way they won't be poor for long.

Hello, I have a question about shipping. How can some sellers offer free shipping for items that costs like $2 or so?

Also would it be possible for someone in US to buy an item from newegg and send it to me in EU because its cheaper in US?

Sometimes the shipping in other countries costs peanuts. I've ordered stuff from China before and the items have cost around £1 and the postage was free.

its a risky job you try to buy direct from them and check can they ship to you its better option for you

Well I contacted newegg and they do not ship to EU.
I have few friends but most of them not online for few days if its works may be I can help you but not right now
