For US-based shippers, I'm not sure where the break point is between USPS's monopoly pricing and your UPS discount. You may need to code a calculator form if you don't want to be doing comparisons manually all the time.
Since last year I've been a partner with UPS due to the high volume of sales I was doing on Amazon / eBay. Because of this I get great discounts on shipping - a minimum for 30% and the heavier the item the higher the discount.
Is there any interest for the deals being made to here to save money on shipping by having someone like myself create a shipping label for them? It would save money for both parties.
It would be as easy as creating a label and providing the shipping party with a URL to access it.
