Well of course I believe more in Bitcoin, ethereum or some coins found in large trading exchanges like BNB etc.
Therefore if we get shitcoin and hope to get a high price then it is a useless thing that can spend our time especially with the number of new projects that fail it proves many of them are not serious in developing projects or even just want to get results from the investor then leaves the project.

I agree, there should be development, new projects should be born. But! Now the teams of new crypto projects need to try very hard to attract investors. The days of easy money are over. And it's good for the crypto industry. Only really strong and useful projects will be able to attract people and have success.
Yes, as you said, the glory day of easy money is completely over. We are witnessing the daily maturity of the crypto market. Projects that are weak and uncompetitive will be eliminated, instead being more realistic projects, with many use cases as well as the significant amount of users.

Surely, science 2017 there are absolutely no changes on the market, altcoins are falling deeper and deeper with every single day. Every single IEO/ICO that goes live is garbage and cannot even collect their soft cap.
If projects failed to collect their softcap it doesn't mean the project is not good enough, one thing is lost in crypto space since 2017 and that is trust, even new projects that are ready to deliver at best will have problem on the investors part unless they use top exchange for their IEO
New projects are not the thing that attract investors, rather bitcoin is what compels people to pay attention to digital coin market. It is due to this coin that crypto currencies were able to make their presence effective and noticeable. Most of the new projects are scams. This is the whole reason why bounty hunters are complaining high. Bitcoin is the most expensive asset and that is why investors try cheap ones first.

The last month, never mind the last few days, have been rather trying for cryptocurrenhttps://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/cies. Bitcoin, at the head of the ecosystem, has fallen substantially, but overall, it is the smaller cryptos, with lower market caps, that appear to have taken the brunt of the bearish turn.

Bitcoin’s own market dominance has been falling in the past few months, almost its price. However, the threat of an altcoin season has far from been realized, as BeInCrypto has previously touched on. In fact, it was pointed out by cryptocurrency analyst Joseph Young (@iamjosephyoung), that the smaller market cap coins have been hit the hardest in this latest drop.

It looks like the altcoin season might take a very long while to happen. We are now in the “shitcoin” season. Do you agree guys?

No doubt that these shitcoins are coming from failed and scammy projects. I honestly believe that 99% of these projects have failed and silently abandoned.

I have encountered a lot of these, like after these projects have finished their token sale and distribution, they would slowly start to get quiet until fully abandoned. It is why these abandoned shitcoin Telegram groups are now full of spam advertisements.

The cycle continues, and it is difficult for others to stop their scamming tactics. I honestly believe we do not need new altcoins anymore, as they would end up getting dragged down after listing in exchanges. Most of us would prefer converting our altcoins into Bitcoin or Ethereum, as the future of altcoins (turning into shitcoins later on) are definitely uncertain.
But for me, one of the reasons that attracts investors to this market and inflow is the new projects. Investors expect the project, its technology and new ideas, and many hope the price of the token will pump after listing. So new projects will be launched, no matter how bad the market is.

If we look at current market conditions, indeed if it is estimated that the altcoin season requires a long time and I personally do not predict that the altcoin season will occur next year, maybe a few years later but of course we who are here want that the altcoin season comes as soon as possible, maybe it could happen if there are factors that support this and for now I think to focus on how we can survive and generate profits from cryptocurrency even if only a small amount of profit.

It is difficult to predict because altcoin is younger and is just in its first cycle but I am disappointed with influence of bitcoin in the space, It massive and oppressive. I am waiting for bitcoin to break the previous ATH before know how altcoin respond but I beleive bitcoin has gain more trust. I expect altcoins to change there strategy into coming year and demand drive in trade volume

Im starting to think the creation of new projects should be limited now. Many of these only copying concept of the previous and pioneered projects. Even the major coins and altcoins also been drop big time. I dont know but hopefully this coming year is a good year for altcoins. Market seems to be in pretty bad shape and I know it will take time to recover but hoping they could  do a lot of improvements.

This time IEO is there to solve things out for people who are looking to invest, we are not in altcoin season but you can still make profits from IEO on binance and gate exchange, for now this is the only way and probably by 2020 things will change
Maybe at first the IEO solved the problem for investors who wanted to switch from ICO to IEO. But at this time IEO has also become a hotbed of scammers and cheats many investors. Many shitcoins are produced by IEO. If IEO listing in binance will indeed make the project more trusted and has the potential for success. But in other exchanges that don't have less credibility, it will become shitcoin. IEO runs very slowly because investors are beginning to distrust. This is because the crypto market situation is not possible either.

Nothing is guaranteed if we talk about investment. Even BTC or other top-10 coins could become shitcoin if someone creates a better system. Watch this video to get some context about how business works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uj1A9AguFs

Since investment is risky, you should only put your idle money and don't take too much leverage.

Last, if you are not a developer, you might want to find safer investment instruments. Why? Because you won't be able to value a tech project if you are not competent in this field.

That's quite an amusing way to put it, but currently there's bargains galore when it comes top quality alt-coins but you'll likely have to be patient till next year for more of an appreciation market wide when market sentiment turns more positive once again and some real growth can begin

I totally agree that altcoin is currently rekt very large, and many may lose money to invest in altcoin like ICO or IEO or buy on exchangers. But there is still hope for altcoin when bitcoin is rising i hope altcoin will follow its price

Yes, shitcoin will always die at the right time. And I think it has no season, they will die every time. They will die when the dev has gained a lot of money and then leave. In bitcoin season or altcoin season, they are always looking for ways to steal people's money in a smart way. So they have to be smarter than them so they don't get caught up in the lure they use.
In fact, shitcoin is not worth the investment and you often face a lot of great risks so this investment is not recommended. I think there are still a lot of good coins waiting for you right now so spend your time researching those projects to make better profits. As I know, 95% of shitcoins have been removed from this market because these are coins with no transaction volume and the development team is inactive so these are forgotten coins.

However, there will still be some shitcoin that can rise well but are not encouraged to invest because you will easily lose money if not careful.

Obviously it will just happen since fhey are just a pump and dump scheme and they have a lot of whales and manipulating the price of sh*tcoins and still people are interested on investing this since its an easy profit.

And i know sh*tcoin is really good at making profit still hard to caught once you take the bait.

Good source of short-term profits but you need to enter and exit at the right time. And that right time is hard to determine if you are not closely following their updates and news. But sometimes even if you are diligently following them, still there's no guarantee that you are jumping on board at the right time. Also, you should not be too sentimental with your holdings for this kind of coin, because you will be left a bag holder if you can't let it go.

coins that eventually die is because they are left after listing. usually the bounty hunter quickly sells everything and leaves. when there is no trading volume, how will the token last? that is a simple reason, then they will smeakin disappear. coupled with the emergence of new altcoin, they will increasingly disappear. in fact I would say that it's not 100% their fault.

Many shitcoins make this ecosystem in crypto bad in investors image. They are actually not entirely deceptive because they list in exchange and have the price and volume at the beginning to planing their first time so that investors trust. If all of their targets are fulfilled. Slowly they leave the project and are not managed again for many reasons and that is why we are now in the era of shitcoins that damage the crypto order in the eyes of the world. There is no way to erase them just have to be reduced to believe in them in order not to get stuck into them.

It's too easy to make a coin or a token to make shitcoins flood the market. Anyone can create a project and sell it or publish it through aidrop.
As a bounty hunter I've seen so many shitcoins projects, developers try to sell their coins at all costs and then quietly leave the project.
I have not invested in new projects since 2018, my strategy now is to make lots of Bitcoin and wait until the end of 2020. I think Bitcoin will reach a new peak by the end of 2020.

You will get REKT, the same as all the people that think like you. BTC is never ever going to succeed.
it must be not all people but those are buying crypto at the peak price. The market is healthy to be used for short term play only right now. But you must respect even if you do know that if he was a bitcoin maximalist/believers. There is nothing wrong with it.
When it comes to the market and we must think about that rationally about the movement of the market.
I'm really interesting with what has already written on your signature, dude. It looks so funny.

I would agree that we do not need new altcoins if existing altcoins had work products or at least were as technologically advanced as possible, but this does not happen and existing projects die. I think that we need to clear the market of dead coins and only then create new coins that will be needed

When you mentioned "shitcoin season" it got me laughing 😁 but honestly that's what we are in presently looking at the dwindling market situation. Sometimes I scroll through telegram groups which were super active before token sale and during token sale, now dormant and dumping ground for spam posts. Most projects are built on lie, false claims, greedy developers who will do anything possible to lure in investors, then when they achieve their funding aim, they bounce. That's the more reason why we should be extremely careful when investing in some of these altcoins.

There are still coins positioned on the top 100 on CMC, which is rather useless compared to lower ranked coins who didn't rank themselves through an ICO.

ICO's in 2017 was just a way for most people to make a quick flip on the pump that was caused after the big launch. Check Dentacoin, $12 mio. marketcap, compared with Blocknet who launched the first working DEX, will be able to oraclize data both on blockchains, and real world applications, actually much much cheaper than Chainlink.

A LOT of good and promising projects goes unnoticed these days, but if you're able to find them, and invest in them near the bottom, you're in for some massive gains, once they release their key products which everyone have been waiting for.

These useless ICO money grabs needs to die off, with only a few of them surviving (like BAT for example).

First of all, you need to understand that out of the 10,000+ cryptocurrencies (coins/tokens) out there, less than 1% are useful. The remaining 99% are completely useless for any purpose and that's why we call them as "shitcoins". Obviously they will survive for sometime as the promoters may try to pump the prices. But once this manipulation period is over, the currency will lose its value and it will become completely worthless in a matter of few months. And this is what is happening to the smaller coins right now.

Don't get fooled by dumping the coins you have with good trading volume, the price in USD may drop to less than cents but you may wanna check the satoshi value it had for months, if it hasn't changed much, there could be no need for you to dump anymore. And since it still is traded well, you'd rather be investing to it. The price is USD changes a lot but price in BTC could just be what it was for months.

~snip~

This phenomenon has been consistently observed ever since after Bitcoin code was forked and grew even worst on the advent of ICO's especially during the 2017 bull run since shitcoins have no where to go but down the drain!

I understand that the crypto space right now is very saturated with crypto projects in which most of them are shitcoins that have no signs of improvement or abandoned or has been developed by fly by night devs - all of which all are bound to fail sooner or later!

Perhaps, this is no surprise at all if we consider that some good altcoins with remarkable development did suffer also from the  bearish trend of 2018 that until now, most of them have suffered a loss more than half of its ATH and still showing no signs of robust recovery as per the crypto market data.

I don't know if the altcoin season will happen again as it was already ended way back in 2017. I don't want to expect anymore, but I still want to believe in altcoins especially the TOP 10 which proved their successful developments. Shitcoins will surely rekt you, so you better have the capability on identifying potential projects and could run for the long term.

In the end if there are no more investors for ICO, or none of their sales are successful, then the Shitcoin season will end, only the remaining rubbish from shitcoin airdrop. The altcoin season is not connected with them in certain cases and only for coins with strong implications from their community that will remain superior.
The ICO trend ended already and i dont think there still people want to invest in any . Investors have idea already what will happen to thier money if they do, so better not to invest than tryng and lost for making a wrong decision.
They are always making a new way  just to make money from coins and tokens but for ico and airdrop they cant make it again.
Investors already stayed away in ICO or new projects even in IEO. It's getting harder for startups to join in crypto. What I think project should do is to get private investors impressed them and try to be listed in exchanges once they already have full product that can run for long in these volatile type of market as new projects ICO are really considered shitcoins now.

That's how nothing is consistent now in a project they are just in the beginning just excited but after they are no longer active and the coins become shitcoin,
Now I see that ICO is rarely used by their projects, they only use IEO for sales, but the cheap exchanges they choose will have no reaction to investors but are reluctant to visit them.

That hurts more if it is from a forced soft cap.

Started with ICO, gained smaller than what they imagined. Still tried to make it happen. Paid a known exchange expecting a boost could happen.
Did not, it goes orange.
Given one more week and maybe it will be fruitful.
Did not, goes red.

Investors crying in a corner.
Hate to say it, but it does happen.

In the end if there are no more investors for ICO, or none of their sales are successful, then the Shitcoin season will end, only the remaining rubbish from shitcoin airdrop. The altcoin season is not connected with them in certain cases and only for coins with strong implications from their community that will remain superior.

Actually the top 100 at CMC is still dominant and has the potential for the future, tends to follow the price of bitcoin and the volume is quite stable. your opinion about a new project that is growing but there is no fan who is called shitcoin. adoption of the use of crypto will continue to grow and remain in need today. altcoin is still needed, because it is a real source of use or crypto-world life, without which it is difficult to grow to the present. Projects that fail are mostly teams that are not solid and the products they manage are less attractive or there are no new ideas (only copy the previous project).

Most one invest in new projects? how many old altcoins failed this year? none! so many projects of today are no doubt money grabbers but very few of them are good, i don't bother myself when altcoin season will return, as far as my portfolio consist of solid projects i am ready for the long wait.
