Looking to borrow some coin, I still need .85 Btc to get my mining operation started(already raised $1200). I can make 2 payments of $60 or one for $120 no later than 2 weeks from now. My close friend owes me $700 that he assured me would be partially paid back sometime next week. Or if you would rather have a percentage of the litecoins mined every week(~$250/week).

Sorry no can do. Not interested in recieving $$$ repayment, only BTC .

My advice to you is to take the money your friend owes you and invest that yourself next week.

In fact, as an announcement:
To any interested borrowers, consider this thread closed. I am going to invest in other opportunities.

Thanks a lot Smiley  I decided to jump through the hoops to get on mtgox.  Didn't really like the idea of giving them all the info after just getting hacked..

I will consider investing in any SECURED btcjam loans to the above post.

Thank you for the consideration, I really can't think of anything that you would want.  Perhaps I should look in the main forum for a person who would consider confirming my identification.  My website links to my personal web page which I can easily be looked up at my workplace.  My response from that email should seem to at least prove that I am who I say, and I have not been flagged in any way in the past.  I realize you have made your terms clear.  Since I replied to your post I have been reading, and things have changed a lot from what they were when I was here last.  So basically I was wondering if this seems ...  bad etiquette?  I would hate for anyone to think my clumsy attempt at a loan may look like a scam.

Dont worry, your attempt at a loan is not going to make me think of you as a scammer, and I will happily do business with you in the future if you find a way to give collateral.

That sounds reasonable, but how?

Basically, my loans require collateral, something of value tthat i can keep in the result of a defaulted loan. I perfer electronic items (e.g. paypal cash, steam account) but will also accept physical.

Hi, I thought I would post here before I tried in the main lending forum.  I am having great difficulty finding a way to obtain btc quickly enough to be able to join the chip buying pool at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/liquid-synergy-designs-inc-asic-mining-hardware-192916

2btc would be enough to allow me to start a small mining setup, buying chips + assembly into miner.

I do have the funding to be able to pay you back as soon as I can find the best way to convert to btc.  If you have a preferred way I would send (btc[or usd] + agreed upon fee) as soon as we worked it out.

Otherwise I would be glad to give you a bitcoin, or double your investment if you would rather wait for the miner to go online.

Back story/ reason for request:
As you can see in my profile I started with bitcoin a couple years ago.  Date Registered:    July 17, 2011, 10:11:56 PM   I did some processor mining then started with my gpu that I had just bought.  Unfortunately I lost my wallet and was in a situation where it would be difficult to justify using the electricity seeing as I wasn't paying the bill.  So rather than upgrading I got discouraged and took a break.

Now that I am ready to rejoin the community I realize the urgency of moving quickly on this batch as the difficulty will quickly rise.  Due to the time sensitive nature I would be glad to pay someone for a loan at this point.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I would be glad to verify by facebook or whatever the preferred method is.

I have recieved PM's with various requests. I would prefer it if initial requests were made publicly in this thread. I will not provide 'anonymous' loans where a loan is not publicly documented anyway - though i will keep certain details anonymous if it is important.

I am willing to lend small amounts of BTC to those who can provide me with sufficient collateral, or to members who I deem to be trustworthy.

The amount I am willing to lend/timeframe/interest rate are all out for negotiation and depend upon the purpose of the loan.

Please post your request in this thread, we can then attempt to come to an agreement via PM.
