Hey guys - if you don't mind international shipping, I can help. I live in Japan where electricity rates make it difficult to mine ($0.25/kwh), but I do have access to reasonably prices AMD cards locally.

If you have a specific card in mind, I'll look for the cheapest source, give you the exact price without any markup, and we can agree on a BTC amount. I won't put any markup on top, but will leave it to your discretion to "tip" me for my effort only if you want. What's in it for me? I get to convert my JPY to BTC through the transaction without it being tracked by any local exchange.

EMS shipping from Japan Post is traceable and as reliable as any major shippers like USPS/UPS/DHL/Fedex etc, but much more cost effective.

Food for thought. PM me if interested.

yeah everyone and their grandmother is buying RX580's now... even a university rector I met recently ordered 10,000 RX580's to use with his university's subsidized electricity...

I would be very curious to know what exact setup do you recommend with NVIDIA's, eg what currency pairs, what mining programs, overclock values, etc.

Yeah I heard about that.  My partner and I were wondering what kind of currencies can be mined with gtx 1060 gpus.  We are interested in the currencies easiest to mine.  With plans on mining a currency we believe will go to the moon at some point.

I am in the same boat Rigby, I feel your pain. It's looking pretty bleak. Newegg has become pretty strict, their system is almost on lockdown with ordering more than one video card right now.

Yeah we would like to mine some microcurrencies.  We are trying to stay away from anything above $200/coin right now.  We want to mine some super cheap currencies where you can get higher returns.

With the current lack of AMD cards to purchase, even at higher prices, I think the NVIDIA cards are a fine option. You may wish to mine something other then Eth, but there are lots of good coins for Nvidia GPUs right now.

I am currently building a rig and am interested in alternative options to the AMD 470/480/570/580 GPUS.  We are currently contemplating the GTX 1060's.  Any thoughts.  Thanks friends <3.
