Actually, I'll have to uninstall the driver, it's giving me a check hardware error now >.<
Click on Start
Open the Control Panel
Select Add or Remove Programs
From the list of Currently installed programs, select ATI - Software Uninstall Utility

Thanks, that worked for both my issues it seems Cheesy though I swear I did this several times >.<... But I do think I'll downgrade to 11.11 because 13.9 gives me less hash/s for some weird reason

Nope, nvm, still getting a hardware error Sad

Tried my best, but I am out of idea now... Sad

BOSD will more likely be the motherboard drivers plus others component drivers versus the OS you are running. If you want to stick with that motherboard because of lack of funds then rebuild the Windows OS but if it is a motherboard built for XP then swap it out to Linux as it will be more stable. When you get some funds in then ebay a used motherboard with CPU and memory that was manufactured for Win7.

Ok, I updated my drivers to 13.12, and it seems to have lowered my h/s... Is there anyway to undo this? I don't want to have to uninstall the drivers, and all the dll's, etc. again, it took forever. I'm now getting 18MHash/s (according to GUIMiner) or 22MHash/s with CCC OverDrive enabled and all settings at max.

BSOD = random problem with drivers or bad PSU.

No one's laughing, you have to start somewhere.

According to this mining comparison chart, that seems about right. I can't help you with the other issue... haven't built my GPU rig yet.

Thanks for the reply, and the chart Cheesy That chart will really come in handy in the future when I do upgrade to a standalone mining rig. It does seem about right, I guess I just think that'd I'd be getting more mhash/s then a USB device would haha.

Thanks again!

Yip, no problem Smiley Be sure to check out My Rep Thread (signature below) if I helped you out Smiley

Hello, new bitcoin miner here, using a computer that probably shouldn't even be touching the bitcoin mining area, but I'm trying it anyway.

I'm getting about 25mHash/s with a AMD 6450 (I know, old crappy card, but w/e) and a like 350w PS (I know, low wattage PS, but w/e)

I was wondering if I should be getting a better hash rate? I would upgrade, but I honestly have no money at ALL to buy ANYTHING related to this stuff currently. I'm currently living rent and utility free in my uncles guest house because we currently have no money.

I also keep getting BSOD about 10 minutes after starting a miner, I don't think it's overheating, maybe lack of power? My temps on the card are about 61*C

Please don't laugh at my lack of a rig... I'm trying my best to get some income to get several USB miners.
