 Not a financial advice, but investing into new projects gives you the opportunity to find potential moonshots. Every project started out as new before making their way up. It is true that most new projects are likely to end up as Rug-pull projects that is why I take it upon myself to make proper research before investing in new projects. Also, if a credible exchange like MEXC or Binance announces to list a project, I have confidence to invest in such projects. I'm currently looking forward to 20th Feb at 10:00 when MEXC will list LVL. This is the native token of Level Finance, a decentralised perpetual exchange which focuses on high and effective risk management.

The developers of most coins are not thinking on actually creating anything that could last a long time on this market, what they want is for their projects to generate enough attention to at least pump once, that way they can sell the coins they kept for themselves and become rich in a relatively short amount of time, and after that happens they have no incentive at all to keep the project going as they have gotten exactly what they wanted already.

Just think that only few projects have emerged successful in the trading market.
The survival rate is very low to most new projects. As the devs realized it is hard to sustain their presence without solid ground.
Most are resorting to the pump and dump scheme to get their pockets full before abandoning their project.
As much as possible, if you are new to this market, better explore the top coins first, btc in particular.
Just try your hands in new alts if you have a good understanding already with this type of market.

Hey mate, you will need to be very careful with a new project, because lately, the number of scam projects has doubled and out of every 100 new projects almost 80-90 end up being a scam.

But then if you do much due diligence, you can still lay your hands on a few good projects.

But you should know that there still comes with high risk, since not all their information is provable from the white papers.

If I were to make a bet about how the OP found that project I would probably say that they did so with social media, that is where most new altcoins promote themselves as they can use bots to try to lure in inexpert investors to their projects, still it is quite obvious that the project referenced by the OP is not good at all and anyone thinking about investing in altcoins should stay away from it if they want to see their money ever again.

Maybe the fear came from the ICO token which fail to produce good result to its investors that's why many people generalize it all. Although there are quiet good new project are worth to invest since mostly some of them goes more times pump but still its hard to find this one nowadays. But for risk taker its for them to try since after all risk taker will win once we see crazy pump and those who doubt always regret about decisions they tell earlier about those new project.

Why do I keep reading that investing in new projects is high risk? Where does this stereotype come from? Isn't a project which has already shown x100 and which can collapse and never come to the same values again a high risk? For example TRON or Ripple. Investing in altcoins has the same risks, whether it is a new project or an old project, just the loss of money will be in a slightly different mechanism. It is also worth noting that all old projects were once new.

Really disappointing and I don't know how to change such things because it was hard to change greedy people from thinking instantly rich.

if you are afraid of losing money, you should just refrain from investing in new projects I guess, you should just invest in coin that has lost quite of its value but still considered good enough so that you will hardly lose any of your money. the first thing you should know in regard of investing in alts is that 90% of chance the project will fail and that equal losing money.

Because of how many scam projects are there and with how many redflags about this project from the mention of above messages then just stay away with it, even though you don't even look at this board again anyway. I don't even know how do you find this project in the first place, where in quick glance this one is not worth to even invest a single penny for, I'd probably search for something better.

The coin has lost roughly half of its value in just two days and there is even a warning on its page about this coin being dangerous to trade, if that is not enough of a red flag then I do not know what it could be, investors need to stop putting their money in these useless coins as the only ones that earn any money out of them are the developers which release them and receive bitcoin and ethereum for a bunch of useless tokens they could mint in minutes.

If you don't want to get SCAM i think you should avoid this project, it’s listed on Coinmarketcap & i see it’s not listed any major centralized exchanges, now it’s only trading on PancakeSwap but liquidity is very low, it’s seems high risky to invest here if it will long term.

There are many indicators of a good project such as popularity, team behind, and the concept of platform itself. Investing in new project is one of the best way to earn huge money. if you can consider a successful project and invest there on the starting time of that project like (presale, IDO, public sale) then you will get a huge profit but you must consider a successful project. now as a bad market situation must of the project got scam. so you have to research much time to identify a legit project. which project you mentioned here i don't see any potential future of this project so be careful and do multiple research before investment

Knowing about the background and the credibility of the new project team is also must. Looking like professional is not enough to invest in a project as many of the scam projects had alike professional teams that's why people invested in these projects.

from what I can see, this is a new project, and many people say that a new project has a bigger risk than an existing project. From what I see, this project is not that good, and it still has a lot of flaws, moreover, there aren't that many users and the community isn't that big. However, it all depends on your decision. When we say benefits, it should be their application. If they have this, people will have a reason to buy them so their value grows too. That is why we investors can earn on them. You are not aware of the project the OP mentioned, well obviously because it was still fresh from the box but you can investigate and share what you discover on here, if that one is worthy or just another attempt to deceive the public. I won't advice talking to the projects team because their response are surely going to be biased.

I am going to be a bit neutral in giving OP an advice, since s/he was not inactive for almost a week after posting this. I don't want to sound rude, but this might be another one of those users abandoning their accounts after posting a project that they "think is great" plus giving bland description about the devs.

The OP is certainly just asking for advice on how to choose a new project as an investment. BItcoin is indeed highly recommended and no one can deny that.
But in this discussion OP may want to choose a new project as his second investment.

For the project that OP chooses, it cannot be confirmed whether it is just a fraud scheme or not. Everything requires research and of course, research must be done as a whole. There are many tools that can be used to check all information about new projects.

As you said most of the new projects today that are not clear will only be for fraudulent purposes including sugaryield.com which is also unclear.

The risk is indeed quite large if you have to invest in a new project that is not yet clear what the purpose of its development is and how to price it in the future. There are many new projects, but it is better to choose a project that is recommended by many people and use money that you can afford to lose so that there are no regrets when the project fails or disappears.

The main reason for the emergence of new projects can be cheater, and many projects do not even continue. Finding a gem project is a really hard job and you have to be lucky. The project has to convince you completely and you have to believe and invest later, it's a really big risk. Sometimes I also invest in new projects like this, it's always more fun than going on a single plane.

Why have you chosen to invest in altcoin instead of a reputable coin like Bitcoin, though it seems very late to invest in bitcoin but to me viewing from the previous price of bitcoin there is a possibility that you are still at the bull trends.

investing in new projects are very risky because we don't know the real investors and backer of the project. similarly we don't know that this project will be prove successful or not. many projects take advantage of current trend and there no products and team behind and investors loses in this way.
there are mainly three ways to take part in new tokens. ICO,IDO and exchange Launchpad. 90% of ICO,IDO Users loses in it because locking period is so long and private sell users dump coin hard and vesting token will not give you any profit.
Exchange launchpad token can give you Profit and here you will not get greater number of allocation. you have to Stake exchange token in large number if you want to get more allocation.

This project is based on high yield providing dex system and they offering very high yield on btc and busd which will not remain for long time. sugar yield has no big partnerships and my recommendation will be to don't invest in this project. Their community is very small and Theirs APP has download by just 1k users.

The point here is that "should I invest in new projects" and "should I invest in THESE new projects" are different as well. Even though I highly suggest not to invest into new projects no matter which one it is, there could be some people who could say, do not invest into these new projects but generally speaking you could invest in new projects.

The logic is that they would be able to give you bigger returns than a bitcoin investment could give you, which I understand and agree if you pick the right one. However, it is also very important to realize that these would usually turn out to be bad projects that will not be able to help you make any profit.

You are aware that there are so many scams projects nowadays and most of them could come from new projects. I think that was enough answer to your own question, so you better stick only on old and proven projects for years as they are guaranteed to last for a couple of years than trying your luck on new projects which might not last long enough even if they show a good start.

From my own years of experience working with new crypto projects, I would say out of 10, at least 9 will never make it. And the one that does make it, will most likely not be worth as much as you invested into in the first place.. Maybe after 5-10 years, sure. My advice to you is to wait for the project to become listed on at least several exchanges and have at least 1 years worth of good ROI. Pancakes, DeFi, Stakes are some of the names they are using to drive yourself into the greediness of investment and returns. Look at the portfolio and also the %APR for the every project that they are giving away. It's just ridiculous how they are flashing you will get 5000+ APR on the BNB holdings. COme on man, do you really need any more proof than this whether the site that you have mentioned is any close to legit one?

I am pretty sure you must check and verify before investing any single penny on such sites. They are nothing but the get quick rich schemes really. I would say one can easily state the nature of it from the websites name itself!

It's never easy when it comes to altcoins and so, the sort of advice your seeking out right now is the sort that is always hard or difficult to give. the thing with some random projects is that many of them are quite literally created for money grabbing and even some of them are using some tricks and method like you where they are trying to make some marketing while disguising themselves as someone that's trying to ask some question that's obvious.

The most important thing is to carry out your personal research, to know if the new projects has something reasonable to offer to their customers before investing because, through the research there are many things you will come across that will make you to change your mind not to invest in that  particular new project or that will change your mind to invest in the new project. I will advise you to invest little capital to test the new project, if it will be good for long term trading or not before increasing your capital on it.

This project is totally new and they will launch IDO in Pinksale which is low quality launchpad. This project offer high APY Which looks very delicious but we don't know how long this project will last.
