What kind of question is that?
"Well, I want to cook, but right now I can make only tea and some fried chicken. Should I continue?"
Of course you should continue doing, if it is really your kind of passion Smiley

If you can get a part time job or something then be sure to do that because then you can keep going under your own steam, 3D modelling is a very specialised field and I'm gonna be honest with you I've tried going down the route of getting a job at games company and you need to be really skilled at 3D modelling to even get noticed. That means, big portfolios with really good stuff in it that's very detailed and of course if you've been learning modelling you unfortunately need to know about keeping polycount and trigonometry.

It all depends on what you want to do with it.

Of course keep up learning! In a few years time ppl might film blockbusters in a green room only because everything else is visual effects and modeling. This hobby may become profession one day, if u wish. =)

I like your designs!  You are certainly more creative than I could ever be.

Unfortunately,  3D modelling is something that a computer AI can do faster, better and cheaper.

In the future, I believe such 3D modelling will be generated by computers instantly for whatever need we have.  I would choose a different path.

Meanwhile for that moment I can always enjoy doing it.
Machines are replacing slowly everything we do, like, can AI imagine something new to build? ofcourse, put a random seed and it will present you a random object, the problem will be, will AI be able to fix textures in the way a human think? Not yet.

Or else: computer games still need low poly stuff to be used, so I will probably learn to do low poly stuff to sell for games.

As you have may noticed, I did some "programming" with JS, to create a bot for playing minesweeper on a gambling site, so I'm even good to learn programming(I principally did python in the last year) but yet, I find that Blender will unlock back my creativity.
Too bad my mistakes gave me a bad reputation on here, but I don't mind, that is past, and as past I have to learn from it.
My braveness is repaying me with these artworks, so I can do it, and I will be good at this, no matter how bad and slow my pc is!  Cool

Just for the news, I pointed my eyes on an old radio probably from the years '40, we will see how it comes out.

Definitely keep learning!
You need to study hard and spend more time learning 3d modeling.
I think that it's interesting and high-demand work. If you'll improve your skills, you'll find a convenient job.
I wish that you have an success!

If you think you have the desire and really enjoy doing it don't just give up easily.

Do you mean like taking pictures of an object and then the computer creates it? He might still be needed to work the programs and perhaps tweak the results. Or create things that cannot be taken pictures of.

What do you want to do with this hobby in the future? A week is too little time to decide whether to give up on X as you can't possibly know how good you can be.

I've stared at blender for years, now I finally found my braveness and tried to learn it in a more deeper way, so, after the first week and half of tries(Yes continuevely and extensively as new file each time, instead of editing the original one, in that way I keep my progresses open) this was my result:

Then, I wanted to do something more costructive, and I made this:

Now I'm undecided, should I model a common radio, or a military one?
