Hi people. I have 0.31 right now, the value of Bitcoin Cash is not really looking good at the moment, if you were me would you sell or hold?
Thanks for any constructive opinion.
Don't sell it yet because the value of bitcoin is continuously rising up. Therefore there are possibilities that you money will double or triple. Just wait until the currency rise up. But if you immediately need the money you can exchange it now but there is no assurance that it is high value.
Hi,
I deleted your post, I was asking for constructive replies, that's why your post is now gone.
Thanks.

You should not be selling any of your coins at this time. I know that bitcoin cash is a hard forked coin and there are a lot of people who believe that the coin will never do well but so far the coin has managed to prove everyone wrong and is holding on quite strongly in the market. Just hold the coin until the next bull when the prices are much better, then you can sell.

Yeah definitely. No doubt about it. Bitcoin cash is not a real currency, it is a copycat that tried to be relevant for a while but it wasn't. It is backed by couple of rich dudes and tried to be something bitcoin should do but in reality bitcoin moved past their ideologies and now working towards a faster way without them. Bitcoin cash is what miners hope bitcoin would become however bitcoin itself is what investors wanted bitcoin to be. Sell your bcash, its as useless as it gets.

If you notice, bitcoincash is trading between 0.220 BTC to 0.080 BTC in long run. It means people are bumping and dumping it periodically. As per my basic rule of investments, when the coins lack with real-time application then we should not believing to them.

If you doubt with your coin, you can just exchange it to another good coin. Maybe to etherum or maybe to bitcoin. Atleast BTC and ETH already known good by many people.

What you should be asking is what is the project behind bitcoin cash? Who are the team members and is there going to be any further developments following its fork from bitcoin? If the answer you get is hazy then you should consider selling it. Otherwise, keep holding

Bitcoin Cash have been doing well since the winter dip, like almost any other coins to be honest. Crypto is slowly growing again and BCH has good raise up. The biggest  raise was in May. Its up to you to sell it now or hodl longer. I would wait a bit longer to see how the market goes. Personally I think it will raise more this summer.

In the market of crypto-currencies the battle of forks is brewing. Bitcoin Cash is perhaps the most worthy rival bitcoin in relation to other forks, but in any case it is not strong enough to at least give a threat to bitcoin. I see no point in using Bitcoin Cash, only for a short while, during obvious rebounds from the bottom. Also, do not forget that this is a self-made project by Roger Ver.

I already sell my bitcoin cash in the last year but I make a buy again in a few months ago while the price is down although today the price still getting down. I still make a little buy for bitcoin cash because I see that this coin can reach the highest price again so it's good for me if I can buy back again while the price still in a cheap price. I still waiting a good time to sell bitcoin cash and if the price does not increase until the end of this year, maybe I will sell it in the next year which I am sure that the price will increase back.

Though I am not a fan of hardforked coins, bitcoincash so far looks to be doing well, it is still at a good price even with the market suffering so much. That means that bitcoin cash is here for the long run. With such a coin, it is better to hold and wait for the bull. If they are doing well in a bear market, imagine how well they would do in a bull market.

According to this you better do not rush to sell it because someday bitcoin price will surely go up and you also,
need to do research about bitcoincash because you will pay attention to hash power, mining activity and other transaction.

If you invest in a currency other than Bitcoin, this has to be definitely Ethereum. I think all the Bitcoin forks, including Cash, are garbage!
I did bro, and I am -30% on ETH right now. Will hold but this year has not been encouraging at all. Well it started well, January was good for ETH but then everything went down, I bought at the worst time it seems.

BCH is pocket money for me so I decided to hold no matter what.

Thanks for all the replies guys (I deleted some of the replies, to be in accordance with the forum rules).

I do not think it's necessary because now all altcoin prices are down and the market has not improved anyway so I'm sure with you holding your altcoin you will get a good profit in comparison with BCH sell nowadays because all of it has not been back stable

Seems like price has risen in the past couple of weeks and bitcoin cash has been doing quite well in the market so it might be a good idea to sell now and hopefully the price of bitcoin cash falls back down and then you can just buy back in again which would be good but if you are not very sure about selling then it would be a better idea to just hold and wait for the bull.

Thanks for any constructive opinion.

It's up to you. You can sell it and invest the proceeds in some other altcoins such as Waves or Ethereum or Stratis. Or if you want you can actually move to Bitcoin. We all know that Bitcoin is going to have some bullish growth really soon. We just don't know when exactly. What is certain though is that it will happen within the first half of the year. So you better have some while the price is still cheaper. The growth is pretty much certain so there is not much risk involved.

Will you really sell it if somebody will recommend you doing it only because Bitcoin Cash is not growing now? My point of view is just to wait at least for March-April. The market I suppose will go up in spring.
Hi. The thing is I was expecting constructive replies with strong logic and thinking behind. There are a few (not blaming everyone Wink) but I had to delete some comments there coming from people just willing to boost their post count.

Good point from you, I won't necessarily sell right now, I was waiting till April to decide (most probably August actually but we'll see in April how things fare.
Thanks buddy.

Better sell it before the value depreciate. Bitcoin Cash will never replace Bitcoin and the trust of community will remain with Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash will become like other fork that become less value as the time passed by.

You have a point here, like me I am still loyal to bitcoin and  this fork are just like any altcoin in my opinion. You can sell half of your bitcoin cash and save the rest forever hopibg that some time in the future it will go up. I regret sime of my coins that lose its value  as time pass  on my experience. #realtalk

Although I am not that big a fan of BTC CASH because of the greed element behind it's creation, I wouldn't sell any major coins unless you are desperate to live off the money. The whole market is in a bear situation right now and I personally wouldn't sell any until the next bull run comes but that is just my personal opinion so you need to make your due diligence and do what what you need accordingly. It has to be a personal choice whether to hold a coin or sell andI hope you make the right choice.

that is small amount to make a profit but you still could make a profit. I think you should wait until the price is rise more than now so your profit will bigger although I am not sure how big your profit later. but if you have money, then I think you can buy more bitcoin cash and hold it until the price is back to increase higher.

if you do not need cash money why should you sell all your bitcoin?
my advice if you do not believe in bitcoin why not switch to ETH or another coin.
jagan rush to sell all your bitcoin because I think there will be where bitcoin will soar again the price.
I am 60% Ethereum now, I really believe in this coin.
Bitcoin Cash is just pocket money at this stage. But would be nice to cash in if the price keeps dropping. Still won't rush like many have said on this topic.

Yes I would sell. The transactions per day have been steadily falling since the flurry in late December, and I don’t see good long-term prospects for BTC as a medium of money exchange - or as a store of value like BTC. They are also I think losing the promotional battle against BTC for legitimacy and the hearts and minds of investors. There are better coins!

Personally I would sell and look to gain bigger in some smaller cap altcoins that have a bigger probability of going 5x 10x or even 20x.  Crypto goes up with a growing community... what would you buy when you first join a community.  1 of something that valued at over 1k or thousands of something that is valued at under .01???
Thanks for the advice.
Which altcoin do you favor at the moment?

I will get some CKEY soon by the way, I believe in this project (CryptoBNB).

Bitcoin is getting faster and cheaper, so why do we need Bitcoin Cash anymore? An altcoin, which is controlled by only few rich people without any purpose. If the big purge will happen, and it will for sure, then coins like Bcash and many others will disappear very fast.

Let me give an explanation about that. If you are seeing the latest news that has already happened with bitcoin and then i think that will have same opinion as me. What will be happening if the transaction fees of real bitcoin will be the same as bitcoin cash itself? consider bitcoin cash is fork coin and then hold it just become worthless. Finex and CB try tofully support segwit client of bitcoin.
BCH die soon.

I have started to check less and less often the price of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.

I made a nice profit with Bitcoin and sold most of it a few weeks ago now.

So basically my portfolio now is 60% Ethereum and 20% Bitcoin Cash.

I think I rather don't check the price of these coins at all in the next 6 months, and see how things are going in August/September.
Checking the prices several times a day has made me paranoid and impossible to focus on other things too (I am learning a new language), I don't like that at all. Maybe cryptos are not for me, so I will let this money sleep and see in 6 months.

Thanks for the advice guys.

First for me as well its a big no, no because here in crypto currency when its low it goes big that because of value changes you hold it but make sure to see the charts be updated to know uf bitcoin Cash is a rising rocket to the top.

Let me tell you a story here guys from bitcoin history were a guy bought a 2USD which now with that 2USD he got up which he bought a car and I think that is a luxury car. So if I were you no no no.

Hi people. I have 0.31 right now, the value of Bitcoin Cash is not really looking good at the moment, if you were me would you sell or hold?
Thanks for any constructive opinion.

check the chart, a market is bloody now. if you do not need your money i suggest to hold your coins after Feb; the market will rise again.

Same advice to OP, if you do ot need money right now, just hold. Its not a good for short trading this week, market is not favorable. We have still several months maybe of like this  just be positive. The market always recover, just a matter of time.

But if you need the money go anf get it but in any case there is a lot of people telling you to hold it well study how a holding is and see how a trader works with the coins.

Hi people. I have 0.31 right now, the value of Bitcoin Cash is not really looking good at the moment, if you were me would you sell or hold?

I think that most of the people here agree that Bitcoin is the king Wink
We all know that the king is bitcoin, but it better to wait awhile because big oppurtunity will  high if you are patience.
Yeah, when it's going down it's better not to trade at all. Just HODL!

Its better to hold but its better to trade here if you bought a bitcoin worth 300USD and it increases to worth of 400USD you have to see and study the chart to see if it will decrease. So thats the time you need to trade it back to USD and if bitcoincash got a down fall buy it and wait for it to increase.

If there's something specific that you want to buy and you need about 300 dollars for it, but can't afford to use fiat then sell and buy the thing. You shouldn't care too much about the price and be greedy if that kind of money is enough for you. If bch is just held by you for profit long-term and you don't really need those funds then I would suggest to wait for some months, since the current price is truly low, we've seen and can see it 3x in the future.
At present the whole encryption money market in a bear market, so I think that could be sold is a good decision, because I think the price is still to fall, then you can buy back the BCH at lower price.
Selling now for buying lower afterwards is a good advice, but a pretty risky one. I guess we've seen the worst already when bitcoin just went down to nearly $5k. It now seems that the market stabilized and is ready to go up slowly.

The decision is always up to you whether you'll sell or hodl your bitcoin cash. This cryptocurrency is still doing some business and still on top 4 next to ripple as in terms of market cap. If i have this token, i will probably hodl it because having a bluprint from bitcoin is something big and different. That means a potential coin too.

Hi people. I have 0.31 right now, the value of Bitcoin Cash is not really looking good at the moment, if you were me would you sell or hold?
Thanks for any constructive opinion.
I think that most of the people here agree that Bitcoin is the king Wink
We all know that the king is bitcoin, but it better to wait awhile because big oppurtunity will  high if you are patience.
Yeah, when it's going down it's better not to trade at all. Just HODL!

Should I sell my Bitcoin Cash? You are the only one who can answer this question.
Do you believe in Bitcoin cash, do you believe in the team behind it? Make you own opinion in doing some research.
I do try to do some research but the issue I got is that crypto-currencies are so unpredictable.
At some point I do feel doing research in useless because most markets behave irrationally and that's sad to see.

If your Bitcoin cash was bought was cheaper of this current price then sell high and buy low strategy will be a good move specially if you really need the money now but if you bought this coin much expensive then i suggest you hold it as Bitcoin cash was belong to the top rated altcoin in which a promising coin too. I believed it will going to bounce back this year like the Bitcoin.
Actually I never spent anything (technically) because I traded some free Bitcoin I got last year (in December) for Bitcoin Cash, I think it cost me only 0.03 BTC at the time.
So it's not like there is pressure to sell or hold, but if I sell now I cash in something like 350 Euros which is always better than 100 EUR if the price keeps going down.

You shouldve sold it already from the time it went up.
It is a coin for profit. It is an airdrop and also a coin who copied the name of bitcoin.
Might as well exchanged it with bitcoin instead of staying there.
You could have gotten way much money that what you will get now. I say get out as fast as you can. It is like a toy of the millionaires preying the little investors.

When you invest in a coin you should be doing it because there is something about the coin that you like and you think will cause it to rise in value. I would only sell if the thing I liked about the coin has changed or if it has met my price target. Always have a plan before you buy and you won't have to ask this question in the future.

You should have sell it long time ago the moment it hits 0.2BTC pair. I believe it will go down the moment bitcoin rise again. If I own it and still not selling it today, I will wait for a  pump and sell it immediately. Besides Bitcoin will have a lightning network soon so BCASH will become useless at all. The community is also do not trust those big  supporters of BCASH specifically Roger Ver because he don't walk the talk. If he convert all his bitcoin to BCASH maybe i would buy it, just maybe.

IMO wait for any opportunity to sell high
This coin doesn't have bright future since cash's dev cannot be compared to core's dev
But it might bounce and get pumped again
Wait until that moment to sell  Wink

I think it's too late to sell, it is just better to hold at this point. The whole market is down and not just bitcoin cash.

If you're going to sell just sell it in profit. Otherwise I'd wait Bitcoin Cash is under BTC selloff pressure. Give it sometime and it we will bounce back.

Good question. For every person that says BCH will go up again, I hear another person saying that BCH, BTG and other "imitators" are going to get crushed in 2018.

I'd advise against selling at a loss if you can help it. Depends on what you're trying to get instead as well.

For me there are two main evils in the crypto world.  2 Dark Lords of the Sith.

They are: Ripple and Bitcoin Cash.

Ripple is a centralized platform that uses tokens to fill their pockets and to make banks richer.
Bitcoin Cash is the bastard child no one wanted and is angry and bitter and trying to kill its father in any way possible.

I believe values should be an integral part of investment.
In crypto, there are so many ways to make money that you can skip the ones that damage crypto as a whole.

BCH has tried to kill bitcoin many times before.
They pull resources from various whales together to collectively manipulate the market to position bch in more powerful position.
They usually start it off by a focused fud campaign and you know what? It has worked.

So should you sell it off?
Yes, of course!
