Personally, i close all trading activities for the year when it’s few days to Christmas because why not. It’s holiday season and we have to enjoy to the fullest. But i came across a tempting ad earlier. You know this seasonal giveaway campaign that Binance, Bitget and other exchanges do at the end of the year where  they give free airdrops if you double your trading volume. It got me thinking, should i trade more and extend my deadline or forget about it and focus on the festivity.
What do you think I should do? Has anyone participated in these giveaways before?

most of the time these giveaways aren't worth the risk but if you find it interesting then go ahead, in holiday usually the volume decreased a lot, people trade less to enjoy christmas so your best bet to increase volume is by leverage, but I believe there will be less market volatility which might be a good thing for people looking to double their trading volume.

personally, at holiday like this, I just don't care with the giveaway, the main reason they make giveaway in the first place is because they know the trading volume will tank at the end of the year like this.

so if you think the benefit doesn't outweigh the disadvantage, just enjoy your holiday. the decision is yours to make.

Go and do the things on what your mind is telling you so that you wont really be ending up on having that regret because at the time or moment that you do find yourself loves or wants to spend up some holiday season with your family or loved ones then this isnt something a bad thing to consider Just do into the things on which you do see yourself that needs up to do and dont. The important thing on here is that you wont really be that putting up yourself into a tough situation or condition on which it will be leading up that kind of frustration and regrets just because you havent done something. Its important that you do really know at least on what you do without having regrets and other things that will boggle you. Somehow its not really that bad to consider on taking up those opportunities to earn something more but always consider out that exchange platform promotions and other stuffs arent that something interesting for my part. Yes, they could add up even more into your capital but we do know on what are the terms out of these bonuses or promotions on which everything will be basing up on how well you do make out some trades.  If you are a trader who could be able to do things at the same time then it will really be that a huge advantage but if not then you will be needing up to choose one. Just like been said that stick into the things on which you do seem that it will really be that making you happy and better to do it than on ending up on regretting into the decisions you do made.

If you have a relatives or loved ones that are celebrating Christmas, it's probably a good idea to focus on participating on that, in my opinion, trading can take a break and time you spend with your family is more valuable more than anything, even though it's a cliche as it sounds, lost time is always more valuable than all the money in the world. But if you're the kind that's not really good with people or easily gets tired when there are parties, maybe you can get away with leaving early, at the least still show up then go back to trading, that's probably the best option if you really want to trade on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Don't worry about missing an airdrop, there will be more airdrops next year than last year. Exchanges conduct such activities in order to attract more attention from traders who want to take a break from trading. Not every tournament can be won, it may happen that you will lose your deposit and spoil your holiday mood.

It’s obvious traders discuss about the bonus and airdrop activity in times like this personally I don’t know how all this work because I’m not into airdrops. If this idea could work perfectly fine why not continue trading, never wanted to state my actual opinion since this decision is so personal. If no why should op listen to the public? Money opportunity is always a top priority although I can’t relate when people decide to take a break because of festive season. There’s nothing bad spending time with family and friends and at the other hand as op mentioned trading is not an outdoor activity so what’s the big deal.

Personally, I really don't give a damn about Christmas, but some people around us do. Probably family and friends. It could be the only time you have for the reunions and fun, so I think it's best to give trading a break and relax during festive season

Trading requires a lot of concentration, and a small mistake could ruin your whole holiday. So I suggest you first get done with Chrismass, then you can trade later. The market will always be there waiting for you.

I don't see any reason for you to ask this question to other people when it's a decision that you should make based on your views on the matter. Everyone will have a different perspective about holidays and festivals and how they would handle their work-life situations, so others' opinions shouldn't matter much in this situation because, at the end of the day, your decision should be based on what you think about these things and how you want to handle things in your life.

A person might have to look at different aspects and think about what seems to be more critical for them at the stage where they are in their life right now. Someone who is already doing very well financially and believes he doesn't need something extra would prefer skipping such opportunities and enjoying their time with family and friends instead, but some might think such opportunities shouldn't be wasted because they could use some more funds.

So, as I said, it's a decision that should be based on your perspective of things and where you are positioned in life at the moment.

Now that you have already closed for the year because of the season, don't use some cheap airdrops that you are not sure of and burn out your balance.

I'm not saying that you won't be able to multiply your capital, but the chances of losing it now that you have a target are also there and shouldn't be ignored. Just focus and enjoy the season with your family. Next year you continue as you might have already scheduled it.

I have received an airdrop from Binance before during festive seasons like this, but it is not based on trading volume, but I think it was done for almost all their active customers. I am referring to when they airdropped TWT to users, which is the only airdrop I have benefitted from from them.

Go with what your mind is telling you, because i have seen a lot of gamblers closing already for the year to resume back by January, we may not have to trade more when we are not having the conviction to do so, or when the market signal is not giving us a go ahead signal, trading is not what we can just go into, we need to make sure that the market we are considering is well performing due to their past record and present indicators.

I was never a fan of airdrops, although I understand that they can bring some extra cash if you're active with altcoins or during events on exchanges, but I never fiddled with those. I did acquire a ton of tokens through Binance's launchpool; some were worth peanuts, and some others skyrocketed. The same rule applies to airdrops as well. My point is that it's basically free money; if you can take advantage of it, do it. You'll eventually find one or two that make it worth your while, but is it really worth it to miss Christmas celebrations?

I'm not a huge fan of the holidays; they're not much different than any other day, but sometimes a change of scenery is nice, even if you're not really a believer. Think about what's more valuable to you: some extra money that you may potentially receive or time with your loved ones. Money comes and goes; time, however, doesn't.
Thank you man, truly time and family is precious. The giveaway holds till first week of January though, it is best i join after Christmas then. Merry Christmas in advance.
