Sure, It would be nice but I never see newbies reading any stickies, they prefer to open threads and ask same questions again.
how would you be able to see newbies reading stickies? do you sit there at their computer with them?
even if what you're saying were the case, they can be linked to the sticky and then they wouldn't even need to ask a lot of questions.
