It's not about someone claiming to being broke, it's about giving some of your winnings to random users on his/her favorite gambling site.
Like I said, if a user is selfless to give away some of his/her winnings, let the user be doing his/her thing. Broke or not, gamblers always expect some whales will win their jackpot and a nice little giveaway.

I just based my previous post on my experience before, that is why I had said that they are broke, because someone approached me before claiming to be broke and also have a daughter who needs a therapy, which in reality not the situation, that is why I mistakenly Contradict your previous post.

If you are truly generous then you will grant some little giveaways for does who are always asking like a dog for a free coins.

I haven't ever sent/received tips but instead of tipping those who ask for BTC, we can tip those who share their gambling strategies and help us all learn how to improve our sports betting or casino betting. They deserve it rather than those who just beg.

not everyone is doing it, only those who do have the greed in the search for profits. I never wear a site that gives tips for free just by doing a chat within this site and it is very easy to do, but after many people utilize it now the website gives a quite strict regulation, and this should be done. So in conclusion if you want to give tips then the estimate is also likely that could be negative from your good intentions

Yes, most beggars are annoying and aren't favored by the regulars. It's easy to tell the difference between the beggars and those who're genuine though so....I don't think there's anything wrong with being charitable though....there are some who could really use a boost from time to time....small things can mean a lot.

I don't know. Sometimes if I have extra, I will throw somebody a little when they seem new and genuinely interested in the technology. Sometimes I will donate a little to them at the poker tables because I know that it will be easy for me to get it back. That promotes adoption and increases the player pool which is beneficial to me in the long run.

They pretend to have a bad luck on gambling and asking for donation, I would never care about those kind of people. You can tip others when you win some btc, but it would be great if you do it with a quiz/trivia or if you are on dice sites so you can make a bounty roll that requires them to play.

I haven't seen anyone begging in the live chat but there are many users who send free tips to new users to try out playing dice which is a way to motivate them. There are users who beg but they wouldn't do so for few satoshis. We can't even stop the users from tipping those who keep begging for it.

I agree, it's an abusive act. How can you ensure that the guy you tipped will be using the money you gave in good way. If a guy who loses in gambling, it will always comeback to recover his loss until and he will and always take a risk to put all his money there just to bring back what coins he lost.

It's a very common theme for gambling addicts to beg for money from strangers (since they alienated alienated everyone they know after "asking" to borrow money, while at the same time not taking responsibility for their addiction in the first place. More often than not, they end up loosing the borrowed money end up not paying their loan back.

So my short answer is no people posting sob stories should never be given money.

Thats true, just to reiterate I don't tip to beggars in chat. My story above had tipping by me calling out in the chat that the first 10 people to comment will get a small tip. That way its more fun, and you don't fuel people who constantly beg.

you can never be sure about people's motives for asking for money (begging) it can be a genuine problem or it can be someone who was bored and though to himself lets make some money by getting it free from a gullible person.

other than that I personally never tip gamblers because they will just gamble it away and the gambling site should do giveaways not me. instead if I want to tip others or do a giveaway I will do it on a social forum like here or reddit and tip those I like and are helpful so they deserve it.

It actually depends on you,

If a person actually needed a financial help, they can try to look for a bankruotcy support from their country.

And also they can ask for help to the relatives they have who have a good financial standing.

I think most of the people who beg for some coins in bitcoins gambling site and rading site, only beg for some extra coins to bet or to play with.

People send tips to others as a free gift or if they know them while chatting. It's absolutely fine to send tips even if you win some lottery and send it as an appreciation. It's just like a giveaway but I don't believe in sending bitcoins to those who keep begging. They can try faucets and earn the bitcoins.

We should completely ignore people in chatter boxes of gambling sites asking for tips.I also have experienced some people which keep asking for tips.It is not bad to lend money to some trusted players but I don't favor borrowing money to gamble and loose more.If you play from the start limited you will not need to beg from anyone.I will say no to tip beggars strictly.

Giving tip on winning is other thing.I don't encourage people to gamble more than can afford to loose.Actually a large number of tip beggars is who are small leveled gamblers and keep trying their luck on tipping amounts in hope of hitting jackpot or so.A good gambler will never ever beg for tip.We should not give tips to those who keep begging by themselves.

Don't give tip to them if they beg for it. gambling site is gambling site and not begging site to start with. If they have sob stories then they should find a decent job and not rely to others

Depends on situation buddy if the person rely deserve to be given a tip then why shouldn't be? As long as they are not begging on the trollbox and thats ok but giving tip to people have bad effect because it can make to people wanting for more and instead they deposit they are rellying on begging tips to gamble.

It depends but not a must may be if you win much you can do some tipping because it like just give your lucky to everyone if you share some luck with others may be you can even get a bigger winning. This is what i think but in the reality I never win big enough so I seldom do tipping

it depends.
when you see a brand new user with no prior history they are only looking to take some money from another person and don't get in their own pocket. so don't tip them.

also it depends on you, if you are a giving person who likes giveaways then do it, it is good karma for you Cheesy

Well I do tip on winning but not to beggars. They are just waiting for free money without any work to do
