Yup, spam! Adding useless posts to a forum!
We already have Save your nice merit records here, and we already have stats on merit and personal merit pages!
What would be the point of this other than merit begging?

He's actually correct, your merit history has nothing to do with the forum or any issues about the forum, so it belongs in the Reputation section. Nothing unfair about him letting you know.

I respects people's decision alot, but how is this thread spamming the meta board? please you shouldn't scare away others with your replies. if you feel the thread isn't okay or shouldn't be created then that's for you. you can ignore it and let's others who have interest to reply.

 you may not be someone who gets excited when they receive merits but others do. we all have diverse opinion on the forum.

I guess if this thread were created by a reputable legendary member for instance. your reply will be different towards the thread. let's all try to be fair here on the forum.

You can make a topic for fun but please don't spam Meta board.

Hello fellow Bitcoiners, we are excited to see Bitcoins sudden skyrocket to 57k in less than 24hours. It's quite imaginable what we should be expecting after the halving.

That been said, we all know how exciting it is when we receive merits here on the forum( I don't know about legendary or members above 1k merits but for me  ). Merit is meant to appreciate a user who contributes greatly to the community. The best part in receiving merit, is when you earn them from top reputable or most recognized BitcoinTalk members. Like that feeling of being seen or noticed by great men and women or Bitcoiners to be precise. ( You can also be noticed for breaking the rules as well).

Well, this thread is meant to be for fun. I want those members like me( don't be shy) who gets excited receiving merits from reputable members to give a shout out to the most recognized members of the forum on your merit history. also it will make more sense to mention a name of that member you so desire to earn merits from on the forum. And of cause, you have to work towards that by contributing quality to the forum.
Like I said before, this thread is meant for fun, not meant to complete you week quota. so please let's be moderate. You can mention up to 2 members on each category. I will drop mine to get the fun started.
