IMO, date is quite enough. But adding a timestamp won't do any harm though.

How about this:
Go here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=theme and change time offset, Save and reload the trust page. Once the date changes, Voila! you get the approximate time. (trial and error)
Does this work?

It would be useful if we get a notification via email when some user leaves us feedback and that reference also can be used to prove the exact time the feedback was left.

So it would be better a personal message here at bitcointalk.org ; a notification through e-mail only for a negative trust it is a little bit exaggerated.

You can attach a reference to a post which would include a time.

Date is enough. The exact time is excessive.

This is the correct way to give a positive, neutral or negative trust but I have seen some users don't link a reference (I forgot sometimes to add it). As I said previous, it is not an important thing or at least it is not of primary importance (in these days the staff is "busy" with the sig ad problem).

There is also the case where someone claims that two people both left retaliatory feedback. Don't even have to display the time, can just be a hover over.

It could be quite important on a case by case basis. It could be used as evidence in a counter scam accusation and such.
Just because one person left negative feedback first does not mean that they are or are not scamming. Often times negative feedback is left as a means of trying to extort someone into their demands and other times it is retaliatory. I don't think the time that someone left feedback is going to ever have any meaningful value.

Often when someone is being investigated for scamming a negative will be withheld until concrete evidence can be gathered of such scam.

Would the change I'm suggesting hurt anybody? It's just a more accurate time stamp.

I would like this and have thought about it myself. It could be useful for certain circumstances.

I think that just showing the date isn't enough. Hours and minutes would be useful.

Can I ask you why do you want also to see the hours and minutes? In my personal opinion it is not necessary and obviously not of primary importance (but this is only my personal opinion).

Well, I saw a scam accusation thread earlier on, the accused got a negative trust rating before he got the chance to reply. But there's no record to prove this.

I dont understand, someone accused someone else and the guy that was accused got a negative trust rating but he couldnt reply in the post? It was deleted or what? Could you explain better

no. he meant someone accused someone and left a negative feedback before he got the chance to reply (to explain himself like that)

not really important for me, because the accused could reply it tomorrow or the next day, if he got a solid evidence that he does not scam anyone or didnt do anything as stated by the accuser, people will be willing to drop the negative trust

Usefull in what for example? I think this wont be a matter, since there is a reference link for the trust to check when is the incident happened, although this wont show exactly when is the rating left but what matter the most is actually the trust score and reference, not the date where some user left him

And also trust is basically a "guidance" for user to trade with more safety procedure when dealing with someone with red trust
