Vampire theme is getting old, it's time for microchip now Grin

There'll be some microchip love story shit out soon. Boy has accident. Boy loses memory. Boy gets microchip. Boy knows everything as he has google in his head, but can't remember who girl is. Boy remembers who girl is. End.

I think you might be onto something. Let's write it  Grin. How can we work Bitcoins into that story? Can call it Bitcoin Boy. I've got a few ideas for a black comedy / rom-com that I've been working on called P.S Your Wife's Dead. Maybe we can  incorporate that into it?  Grin.

After coming home form the hospital, broke and not well, he makes a ton of BTC. Or maybe it is the BTC he has forgotten. "The hunt for BTC"

Haha. All great ideas. What about an adaptation of another film; honey I shrunk the Bitcoin?

These arent just conspiracies, really only linking Obamacare to microchips is a conspiracy.  Even Google and Motorola are looking into microchipping and "electronic tattoos" for the near future.  It just seems strange that multiple shows pushing them are just happening to come out on different networks.

What's so strange about it? Technology/ the future is interesting and exciting. It's only logical that shows are going to exploit new and future technology.

I think the creation of these shows might have to do with the increasing hype around wearable computers like Samsung's watch and Google Glass. The concept of taking a normal person and endowing them with technology which gives them super powers has a lot of mass appeal because obviously none of us were born Superman/Superwoman but would like to have been. Also if you look at shows like the 6 Million Dollar Man it's clear this concept isn't new but this microchip idea seems more plausible in our modern world so it's gotten popular again.[/b]

That being said, it will be a cold day in hell before I stick a fucking RFID in my arm. I might buy a smart watch but I hate the idea of having a piece of technology on me that I can't take off.

Couldn't have put it better myself. It's a modern version of an ongoing yearn/fascination. 'What would you do if you could be invisible for a day...'

Anyone else noticed the number of shows/movies promoting microchip implantation?  The two that are advertised repeatedly during football games are "Almost Human" and "Intelligence."  There is also a Johnny Depp movie coming out where he has a microchip implanted.  All these seem to be promoting "computer-like" intelligence or access to vast amounts of knowledge if you have one.  I know there are conspiracies that say there is a part of Obamacare that will begin to implement RFID microchips in people starting soon.  Although I dont know if that is true, it does seem the "entertainment" propaganda is fully behind the idea of microchips.  Are there any other shows/movies you have noticed that are promoting these?

Haha, I wouldn't really listen to most conspiracy theories. What exactly is the evidence for this microchipping?
