Beauts! I sadly missed out on the chance to acquire any BBs.

Would be curious to know your purchase price, even if the amount was settled a few years ago, if you're willing to share.

Keep those deep in a vault and hodl. That's a legacy-level collection.

I appreciate you sharing too.  I think a lot of us have some cool stuff that we tend to keep to ourselves, and I certainly understand that, but it's also nice just to see some cool shit being posted.  I will share a few of my rarities over the next couple days as I think you've inspired me a bit ( would be cool if others did the same ).  I don't have anything that's going to come close to this bitcoin amount wise, but I've got some very rare stuff, a few things I'm confident no one else on the forum has.

Cheers!

It might be nice actually to create a community [SHOW & TELL] thread ans have it Pinned
to the top of the board!

When I was active on Star Wars collecting forums, they always had limelight threads where everyone shared their collections & displays.  Some folks already have their own threads but could be linked in top post & allow for others to post their stuff.

after the 2 10BTC casascius coins from @dazedfool another rarity is posted here and that even as a complete set, graded and still completely intact/loaded Shocked
congratulations on these very valuable collector's items! Cool

Stopped by the forum for some research and to announce a new project I was working on over in Project Development, decided to take a look here to see if there's anything interesting going on.

The 10 BTC Cas are a treat. Unfortunately, I think I'm past the point where I'm willing to take on the shipping risk for these sizes, so I just enjoy what I've accumulated so far.

If I am not mistaken this used to be Charlie Lee's set that he auctioned on Great Collections a while ago.

What a grail, a 2.4 million dollar collection.

How do you display this set, do you just leave it in a swiss vault somewhere or do you hang it on the wall of your submarine.

It isn't the Great Collections set.

I did buy this from another prominent member of the forum here, but I won't disclose the identity unless they're comfortable with it.

Deal was actually done several years ago, but I only took delivery last year as I wanted to collect these in person and travel shutdowns over the last few years made that difficult.

Stored very safely out of sigh, out of sunlight, out of any harm Smiley

Please do list them in my thread as well. They deserve to be there.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/info-all-about-bitbills-3334918

Also if you look at my thread I made a makeshift frame to display all my Bitbills...the catch is...they are color photocopies of the originals...thus the real ones are never exposed to light and any chance of theft.

You need to do the same and at least enjoy the view knowing that they are safely hidden in your vault yet safe to display their images on your wall.

Just posted in there Smiley

Your thread was a huge push in me pulling the trigger to get these. Even back when I made the deal, 36 BTC was nothing to sneeze at, and that thread was one of the primary reasons I went through with it.

Maybe I'll do up a nice print and frame one day.

Dropping in after a long hiatus to share a cool set I acquired last year.

A complete set of BitBills - 1 BTC, 5 BTC, 10 BTC, and 20 BTC.

Rarely seen, rarely sold.

All seals and QRs are intact, just blotting out because it pays to be paranoid when it's 36 BTC.

krogothmanhattan has a wonderful write up on their history over at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/info-all-about-bitbills-3334918 if you're seeing these for the first time and want to learn more

Not for sale, just sharing a rare set!
