You're right! I didn't consider the difficulty of recouping losses from 1.50 odds. But it's also a little harder to find winning bets/games that are 2.00 or better. Some luck plus a bigger amount of betting capital are definitely needed to be a winner in the sports-bets AND the contest.

I'm not really much of a sports bettor. I have to compute how much I should lose while trying to reach the ten bet minimum, and how high I might place in the contest. Trying to win 50 bets to get first place will result in a loss, and a risk that the prize will not make up for that loss.
I'll try to show you more than 60% winning strategy for basketball in Round 3, plus for the minimum required amount to bet, I will experiment with the strategy before the official round starts.
That sounds very interesting I won't be much around in the next few weeks but please tag me when your strategy is ready I am always looking for interesting betting angles.
It's more of a strategy to win the contest by accumulating winning bets than an efficient strategy to actually win in sports-betting. The odds will be low and near the required 1.50, but it might give a higher probability of winning than merely betting the favorite.

I took a peak at the games and rounds thread and I would say I'm impressed on how you guys were able to put a massive 100+ bets. Damn, especially for Woodie who came out on top at the last minute. I think I'm a bit interested in joining the next but I'm not sure I like this lots of bets competition, you know. Maybe @LM if I may suggest, how about a biggest winning odds of a parlay bet?

I made that observation too. I thought the NBA would give the less volatile opportunities for getting winning-bets for the contest, and that the NFL would give the higher amount of wrong decisions. It's actually in the opposite direction. The NHL has also been kind to me in picking favorites.

I believe with the amount of the prizes offered, Little Mouse made a fair decision in making the minimum amount to bet at $3.00. I believe any amount more might give the participants a higher probability of losing when chasing the 10-winning bet minimum to be granted an entry in the contest.
You would therefore have 20x3 Level Stakes, giving you more opportunities and lesser risk of ruin.
Sure twenty Level stakes would be better or I could just have deposited more.
But wanted to make it more of a personal challenge for what I can achieve with 60 USDT and selective bets and somehow I started with 5 USDT stakes not sure why

If the payment is using altcoins then the thread is not in line with the forum rules where the Games and Rounds board specializes in bitcoin rewards.

Yep, it's him. I can't imagine the effort of posting a thousand bets in a single round, but it might be difficult to pull off once new rules are added. There is no need to shift the thread from this section to altcoin if things happens to go down as it has shown signs of, let have some fun in here.

Had it not been for that 48hour rule, the landscape could be different by now, imo I think let's make the game easy for everyone going forward by doing without that rule in future rounds to remove the uncertainty and stick to time posting...Already looking at the current state of affairs in the thread, change only happened in the next ~20 minutes after the deadline which shows most of us play within the 7day running of the competition.

I placed a $3 bet in TRX and won 2 single bets, but for some reason I checked just now the bet became $2.93 is it because of the influence of the TRX price dropping?
If so then this is not included in the minimum requirement of $3 bet, right?

I am assuming that winners nr 1-5 winners are not for winning highest total odds or something like that? But for the people who won most money total from those single bets they participated with? Total Prize- $500

Because is i want to be tactical, latter would mean that gambling with 3$ bets wouldn't most likely bring us near top prices, as one wealthy player could just move to the top with few high roller $1000+ bets. So if rich high rollers are most likely rewarded, it would change my tactic. I just wanted to make sure that if this is the case?
