What if AMZ decides to setup their own ‘small’ blockchain – they surely have a lot of server farms around the world.

I have quite a lot of token siacoin but this time the token price is very low because that's what I keep this coin for later if the price is already quite high.

i think the main competitor for sia is storj, ipfs, genaro and other new project which are used to store files, decentralize is the trend, AMZ will decline in the future

Sia coin has a possible future if they market their features correctly, for the last couple of years people and business are worried that their files that is saved on the cloud is being scanned by the company hosting them and by storing it in blockchain that would solve the problem, the next problem is hosting fee on Siacoin.

I dont think its SIA's intention to compete with the likes
of Amazon rather it will provide a service to the likes of Amazon!

I dont know anything about AMZ but its looking likely that
there will be a newer player to overshadow AMZ, such is the
way recently of some Blockchain technologies.

Hi,

I quite like the idea of Siacoin – an affordable solution for private people and companies to host files and data securely on a blockchain.
Not sure how well it will be able to compete with Amazon though. I realise that AMZ is not blockchain but it is going to be hard to convince normal people the advantage of saving their file with Siacoin over a trusted name such as AMZ.
Any thoughts
