Well, despite that SiaCoin ranked 30 on the market, but I think that this currency is profitable because it has an acceptable value of market cap (more than 350 Million dollars) and their current price is pretty low ($ 0.01) compared to other cryptocurrencies. In fact, this digital currency is appropriate for a long term investment through a large proportion of money, because it is expected that Siacoin will rise to the moon after a few years ( 1-3) and IMO I think that making the  risk through this coin  is perfect in order to earn a large amount of money especially a long period of time.
As a matter of fact, it is certain that Siacoin is linked to Bitcoin, so when Bitcoin will rise with a good value ( more than   $ 10K ) then it is expected that Siacoin will reach 0.05 or more. So  you must invest in Siacoin and wait the the good surprise (few years ) . 

Good news for Sia coin holder's this is the proof patience are important to earn even now are crypto are not in the good condition stability in the market their had an coins gives profits. hope those people are not enough hope for the crypto capability become  expensive again oi think this news are gives inspirational for them to continue support crypto become most famous decentralized currency.

It seems we have epic monster moon right now when Sia coin is worth over $0.01.  Congrats to all that holds it all this time. I guess next stop at $0.1.

Sia is acting based on the sermon very much. I have to make a very careful purchase. I had expected a lot of declines and better prices. But now I stay away.

I did not figure out a project like that. It could be a good price. However, this may not last long. I can not trust this problem is not giving confidence.

I am into this coin for the long term, I believe in the project and the real world value it brings. I think we are starting to see the price of this coin reflect that recently, as it has been climbing nicely!

The project is based on using siacoin 'tokens' as just that tokens in the asic network for cheap internet anon storage...thus instead of say $100 buck storage on Amazon,
any gov't can pry into, you'd pay $10 a month say for something NO ONE can look at...in that it is decentralized like the internet

so the price of siacoin itself is gonna dump if only used for speculation...I mean what are there now 27 billion coins now?..and when the ASIC's hit in 2018 they will add 25% more

thus, from what I understand the storage part of this has to work..or you will simply have an asic network running around passing worthless tokens in a circle and adding

25% more siacoin to the volume of tokens each month

it stands, imho on IF it can compete against Amazon Cloud at 10c on the $1 in comparison..if not...we have space heaters

so expect the price of INDIVIDUAL siacoins imho to dump big time.....unless they ramp up to scale on their decentralized storage...it all will be moot

oh and no minerbox out yet I think..that was supposed to be in July?

I really believe on this project.
Maybe some of you will say that the supply is very high. but this is not the only reason for making the price moving !
The project in this case is more important. The  will compete with Hosting providers like Amazon s3, google or microsoft offering prices 10-50 times lowers, and offering private and decentralized hosting.
This project is strong enough to reach $0.5 in a long term period.

Sia has a bright future. Project is really strong

Supply coins are too crazy, so it is not possible the price of this coin will rise, precisely the price of this coin will remain down until the price is exhausted

To be fair when I created this topic I was really hyped about siacoin and i did sold my siacoins at 500 satoshi, I was about to rebuy, but this time it just doesnt feel right anymore, lack or marketing, lack of updates, as the reply above mine already said looks like they are focused on other stuff

I believe there will be a pump again, but i dont think it will be that soon, could be wrong, because siacoin is really easy to pump and twice as easy to dump, ill just stay out of siacoin for good

The SIA team has been too busy trying to market their new Obelisk ASIC instead of working on the actual project it seems. Hence the stagnation.

Sad that a project already plagued by an overly excessive total supply, would spend all their resources in one last money grab attempt at selling it's own ASICS. I used to have high hopes for this project too...

this coin seems to be very under the radar nowadays, need a real marketing drive or a few whales to come in and help out. the past few months have been pretty bleak to say the least. When are the updates going live?

I bought this coin on 520sat and sold it in 2 months to 290 and decided to forget about it, the coin was a pump, now everyone has forgotten for it, in the long run it can show x2 but when?

Nothing is specifically wrong with siacoin nowadays. For now wait for price rise and hold, I speculate it to go above 0.000007 btc soon or more, it might also go up higher than speculated. The dev team is also so active and it has a low chance of not pumping to a higher price now that they are releasing a ton of update ATM. It is still a good price to buy into siacoin so accumulation is still viable.

I remember when i first started to talk about siacoin ( it was 50satoshi back then ) everybody called me dumb and stupid, but look at us now, made some profits when it hit 300-500 satoshi right?

I also think that its still not too late to buy if youre thinking about long term profits, shortem i dont know it can go either way, but longterm definitely we going to make some good buck here.

The price fluctuations doesn't make sense for me at all. I know how great Sia is, so I'm buying it just for holding not to sell in the future.

People sold cause they sold everything. Haven't you heard? The huge bubble popped, but don't worry. There will be a next round, probably very soon. And this time Sia will go much above $0.01. As you can see it's stabilising at $0.006-0.007 which isn't too far from the ATH. And it's much higher than its price before the pump.

I think Poloniex is the cause of the price stagnation / sinking the past days. No way to withdraw so people probably sell. WHY is their deposit / withdrawal function already offline for DAYS? Did they maybe lose a lot of SC?

would you rather have your info on your own personal cloud, or do you trust a business with your info on their cloud? do you trust big business, or have faith in whatever safeguards they have in place for preventing your info from being compromised? would you rather get rewarded for someone using your unused space vs. not?

how is sia going to be useful for users? because this is what will make its price stronger, it don't matter when its going to rise but what can make SIA valuable. I can see it on the 20th of the coincap and so its marketcap is somehow bigger.

It will get there. Every coin has been doing great and its just getting started. I think we are aiming too low.

What the hell, this is going out of control! It was at 50 satoshi not so long ago. Then I had to take my money out and put it into Noble before it crashed. Now I can buy back SC at only 10% of what I used to have. Holding on to it now regardless of what happens!
That's the kind of lesson I needed. The smartest thing to do is to HODL. You will only miss out on bigger profits if you don't. I was away for 1 month or so and BTC price skyrocketed. If you hold these coins others will have to pay that much more in the future. $0.10 would be sweet!

When we see the potential of the coin and definitely there is a chance that the price of Sia will increase to 3 or 4 or 5X price.It won't happen in a day I twill take a lot of time to reach there.

The problem with some people is that they don't understand how to value projects, I have no problem with the project but the amount of token supply is my supply

I think next few months will hit 1k satoshis because now the price is at 400+ so hopefully next month it would be 1000+ satoshis then that time that would be a big profit to us. Im buying SC because it has a potential . I hope i would be getting my capital

Considering about cloud storage companies, I personally see huge potential for Sia. I'm sure that It will have few billion dollar market cap.

Hopefully Siacoin will reach $1000 within this year, keeping an eye on new reviews especially good ones.

This thing really took off, and if it keeps going like this it will be at $0.01 tomorrow. If it gets there there will be no turning back. I'll be going all in with the rest of my USDT polo acc, and my only regret is that I didn't do it earlier and only put in about 50% of what I could have.

In 2 more weeks

There is a comparison between SIA and Storj?

I think Sia could reach 1000 satoshi in a few month.

I’m thinking about this for few weeks and my speculation is:
1. Good project but need a strong marketing infrastructure, not only to compete against Storj but also a good alternative to consolidate storage companies.
2. If a lot of people use Sia's technology, it will appear some bugs that maybe they aren’t detected now. This step is very important because Sia will be perfectioned.
3. If bitcoin rises like a lot of people say (1BTC: $3000 for example) it will affect all cryptocoins and the usd because today 120 sat are very cheap, but in one year, 120 sat will be more usd. Maybe there are people that have 50.000 SC and they are waiting for every coin gets $10 expecting $500.000/268BTC… but I think bitcoin needs to increases a lot for that. And I don’t think Sia gets that value. Think about that, is a good deal, if arrive this price, do you prefer hold or sell… mmmm? Remember LTC, BTC, ETH… And what will be the final use of SC? Only for storage? I think SC can’t compare with other crypto that are used for transactions. Every coin has their function, and maybe people confuse/associates the value of some coins with their technology (see XRP).
4. I think the future of Sia will be great and need to be important and useful for people. Don’t think in Dropbox, think in Sia or Storj. This is the line that they need to cross. But now, people aren’t concerned about centralization and privacity (facebook, the great example). And markets only want to invest in coins for this afternoon (money, money, money…)
5. The question is: Where Sia's team want to go in terms of markets, why do you think 1SC needs to increases until $10?

Well that kind of a price would actually be impossible, at least i think so.. 10-30 cents could be a possibility, that still high if u look at the current price

Dont expect the price is to increase a lot. SiaCoin concept of cloud storage will only succeed depending on its low price.

Hey, so I recently stumbled across really cheap and in my opinion very undervalued coin - Siacoin.

Naturally I did some research and this coin seems awesome, it supports on-blockchain storage contracts, on-blockchain smart contracts.

Siacoin price is now around 0.00000052 BTC, thats really cheap and really undervalued.

Devs are being active, new updates are coming next week and they are updating their road map, the may month looks awesome, i think we could hit 0.00000100 BTC in may, what are your thoughts on siacoin and its future?
