I'm not really sure if the campaign is only credit for op it will attract more people to join, it must be there are a lot same topic, although recently it there are much topic with same discussion.
I think the rules for now is good, just make more improve for a spam post/poor quality post.

It was like Wik sites, publishing tasks, and then the people to do the task , and finally make money autonomously

If Signature campaigns will use PPV ( pay per view ) or PPC ( pay per click ) feature, then it need some software or tracking system to be developed, so that it can track real human views .

this is a good idea, but everybody will compete to make their own threads than make a post on the other people threads

This is probably true.  I can see this working and people doing this.  And there would go the little quality we have left here.  Sad

it would be cool if signature pay per click on your advertisements(if someonme click on your signature, it mean that he is interested, and this will be counted as a +1), instead of per post, in this way you will not get the same people with the same signature posting in the same thread

it should not be too hard to do with a bot i guess

would not be too hard to make a bot to fake clicks in your signature, or even to do it by hand

It would be cool but it's too hard to track but not impossible.
We may assume that
If a topic has 7 pages & 10.000 views, and then it becomes 8 pages when it becomes 9 page and the new view count is 15.000 view We can say 8th page has "5k views".
This kinda thing might be good but then signature payments would be low because of "Pay per impression" etc.

This type of view count could be misleading and open for abuse. People can get views from various sources as membership is not required to view a thread.
Most of the time Pay-per-click is more reasonable for campaign owners.

i had a similar idea some time ago and developed a script that can do measure views and clicks of a signature advertising campaign for each campaign participate. But, it only runs with images. if Bitcointalk.org would accept images in signatures, lets say maximal 200 x 100, then i could provide a ready to use script for that Smiley

And of course people with 0-10 activity posts dont get counted otherwise you could spam it easily.

Problem is it wouldn't be only newbie accounts. There are already people with several accounts in the forum. And you can simply buy accounts too. But the whole idea still gives people the incentives to create many accounts and get them all in signature campaigns. And you can't raise the 0-10 activity limit under which you don't count posts. Maybe count only posts made by users without a signature? Doesn't seem a good solution. But it would require more work to rig the system then.
I don't think there would be enough space in the signature campaignes for spam accounts. If spam accounts would join, they will get kicked from the campaign for spamming and banned on the forum. And yes people are already having multiple accounts, what makes it hard to get this idea succesfull, so we need an alternative option to exclude the spammers.

No clickbait topics needed, just make a simple script to boost the visualization of your contend, or pay others to do so(some people will do it almost for free because it is too easy).

And no one will be able to prove that you did it, specially if you are careful and boost other's peoples contends view too, so you won't be banned and won't receive neg trust if you don't ddos the forum

Yes it would be too easy to fake those views. Another way of doing it would be to pay for posts made by others in the thread. Non spam posts of course. But even then it would be easy to rig this system. Especially if people start creating new accounts for that.
Actually that is an really good addition to my idea. Thanks for your input in this. And of course people with 0-10 activity posts dont get counted otherwise you could spam it easily.

anyone else has suggestions for this idea?

Thanks for your input. I will move the topic to service discussions. And yes, the payout per impressions will be very low, but it is easy to get over 1000 views on a topic. And you can always create multiple topics, but not spam!

I don't think so.  The problem is with this rule we would be forced to make clickbait posts.  Plus who gets credit, the OP only?  How do you tell if page 3/15 in a thread was viewed as many times as page 7?  I think the basic idea is good, but it might need some serious refinement to make sense.  But after everything is said, I would not want to join such a campaign because it would be too much of a pita to track the numbers.
Yep, that is true. I hope there will be something one day so it could be made possible.

Not only the OP gets credits, the OP gets BTC for the views and his posts. People who post in his thread will also get paid by the signature campaign they are in. So basically it is an extra in a regular signature campaign.

I have a great idea about signature campaign rules. The signature that needs to be advertised need to get alot of views, if the signature campaign pays for the amount of views on your topic with the apprpriate signature it will get a much better picture of how many people actually seen the signature.

So will the signature campaign owners add this function?
